I was trying to point out that I can see someone being an expert in almost anything(Hell, between reality TV and the net I think we've all realized that people are obsessed about amazingly weird shit, you have those folks who know everything in the world about something obscure, like Shirley temples ballet slippers), but yeah, an expert in everything?
I don't get those folks either.
Me, I'm good at one or two things, average at a few more, and pretty much suck in everything else. You know, kinda like most people.
I am an expert asshat, though.
I will claim that one title for my own.

My favorite is those who are "experts" at receiving massages. Like there is some kind of learning curve to laying down and letting someone rub your back (or where ever). Perhaps the expertise comes in not falling asleep if the massage is done well?

Hey-Don't be making fun of one of my few personal areas of expertise now, huh

This would be me! I am an EXPERT at laying there getting massages! I trained for years for that. Lol

Hey, that takes some skill. It can be hard to stay relaxed. I'm still working on it.

DesFIP -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 2:04:41 PM)

Is there anybody who doesn't love getting a massage?

OP, whatever you learned 30 years ago doesn't matter. I used to be expert in calculus 30 years ago, I sure couldn't do any of it now.

More importantly, if you have spent all these years attempting to get into a relationship and being shot down, but never seeking professional help to fix your issues, that is a huge red flag.

Most of us want more than kinky play and sex. If you're incapable of keeping a relationship going, that means you need to learn relationships skills and communication skills. Which doesn't mean barking orders, you need to be able to listen to the other person sincerely while not actually preparing ways to ignore their needs in your head.

A little Lady P trivia.

I actually don't care for them much. A person has to have My trust to the ninth degree to even be able to attempt it. This is especially true if we are talking about a situation where the person is trying to work on My back. Very few people can even accomplish it for a few minutes. More often than not, a person trying to get the tension out of My shoulders will end up with Me having more tension because My muscles firm up like a rock. I'm just too uncomfortable with the person standing behind Me.

It comes in handy, though. If a person walks up behind Me and puts their hand on My back, and I don't tense up, MP knows immediately if I trust that person.

littlewonder -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 2:30:39 PM)

Personally I would not call you a Master, let alone a dom for the simple fact that you said you walked away from being a "dom" and got yourself a wife and child and then you walked away from that and now want to do bdsm again. Personally for me, I would have a hard time seeing you as anything more than someone who wants kinky sex.

I raised a child alone for the past 21 years. Can I call myself an expert in child psychology? or a certified caretaker? I mean, 21 years...I should be an expert right?

DesFIP -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 2:31:35 PM)

I'm shocked. But I was actually thinking of a professional massage therapist, not someone offering to rub my back.

Shininglight23 -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 3:34:49 PM)

OP,

I read your profile, and like many others.. I'm not impressed. For starters, I would suggest correcting the word in bold below.

"If you are a beginner or have litter training I'm also willing to train you right to your LIMITS and beyond as you get more EXPERIENCE which takes time."

monotalie -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 4:35:26 PM)

Crucified. lol
OP, just relax and don't think so much of yourself. Subs/slaves aren't stupid and can "smell" weaknesses of your character and inconsistencies in your story.

HarryVanWinkle -> RE: Something new?? (2/17/2013 5:50:49 PM)

So, let me see if I have this straight. You claim to expert in MANY forms of play, although you've had nothing to do with BDSM in a LONG time while you were off searching unsuccessfully, for a vanilla mate.. You are looking for a "REAL", not "FAKE", sexy slave woman at least 7 years younger than you, from anywhere in the world who is willing to move out to a two hundred miles from anywhere, bare your children and put herself entirely under your power, knowing that you will punish her HARSHLY for any thing you perceive as a fault in her behavior.

Umm, good luck with that.

An expert in fine dining? Really?

Sure. Spent 15 years working in the industry in top end joints cross the country. Been a waiter, bartender, manager, chef, maitre de. I know all the tricks, seen anything and everything happen, from waiting on the VP to watching a lady get set on fire at her table.
I'd say that qualifies me as an expert.

That makes sense. I was speaking more about seeing expert next to every conceivable activity. I am sure that most people who say they are a fine dining expert don't have the background you do.

As well as other activities that require expertise.

Been here, done this, invented the T-shirt & even i find the concept of expert in fine dining laughable

Can we make it a manditory forum for newbies? Until you hit 25 posts you can't open the rest of the site? Maybe a final exam verbatum from TOS?

Try reading my profile and then see what I was trained in, before you give a answer in future.

I haven't read your profile, but I've read BlkFullFig's posts off and on for years, and she's almost never wrong. From my own perspective of course.

Maybe sometime tomorrow, take a deep breath, exhale, and then read it again. My advice.

Good point....

rowdy01 -> RE: Something new?? (2/18/2013 3:16:49 AM)

Well I have to say thank you for all of your criticism that was really helpful since you never advised me on TPE anyway? So I don't know why you even bothered to write in the first place for. Well I have to say about what I was trained in by a Mistress and Master and he started in BDSM before you was born, unless you was 20yo in 1950 or so. I would say he had a lot of training and experience, don't you. I probably know as much as you or maybe more in training and experience, and it didn't come from a book it came from real life okay.

rowdy01 -> RE: Something new?? (2/18/2013 3:28:11 AM)

What are you talking about a male sub, theirs nothing in my profile for you to come up with this crap. Does it make me a sub using a whip on a slave does it make me a sub using a cane on on a slave make me a sub NO I don't think so or we are ALL subs then aren't we. Everything that I rated myself in doing I have done on 12 slaves and I trained only 2 beginners 10 I only part trained only once contract was complete they went back to their master or mistress.

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Something new?? (2/18/2013 3:50:17 AM)

Alrighty then.

You do know that those you message can, with one click, look at your forum posts, and read this most undomly rant, right?

It will be there forever for them to see.

Providing you with a detailed explanation of TPE would be like giving a full course in human sexual reproduction to a four year old who asks where babies come from.

You have a great deal to learn, and you're lying to yourself if you think anything else.

But, you know, get on with your rowdy self.

rowdy01 -> RE: Something new?? (2/18/2013 3:50:51 AM)

What are you talking about, some of the things like begging and to serve as a maid are what I want a slave to do not me. So what do you you advise take out what I want a slave to do? And just leave in what I was trained in. I don't have comedian in my profile! And I don't have cartoonist in my profile either. Auto racing is what I like watching on TV, F1,NASCAR, Indy not doing myself.

In your 'likes' section you have rated yourself as an 'expert' in comedy shows and cartoons.

I think people were being kind by thinking you were a comedian and a cartoonist, rather than someone whose expertise was gained by watching countless hours of 'I love Lucy' and Bugs Bunny [:)]

TNDommeK -> RE: Something new?? (2/18/2013 4:21:48 AM)

Dark feather is an expert on cartoons. He knows every line of every cartoon. [:D]
But I think he would be the only exception.
