In response to the "What is your cat doing?" thread, I thought I would make an alternate thread for puppy lovers. This is Phoenix, my pit. He is five and likes to destroy things.

Nice to have a doggie thread tho coz I hate cats.
I can't think of anything nice to say about cats.

I don't like pits or bulldogs or similar breeds.
I don't find them cute or pretty.
I also don't like yappy little dogs either.

Now something like a nice Irish setter is good for me.
Or a good spaniel - either a Ruby or Tricolour or even a decent King Charles.
I think they look very nice.

I used to hate dogs before I rescued Phoenix, and yes, pit bulls are a handful. The nice thing about mine is that he's pretty small (about 20-30 lbs.) and extremely well-behaved. Puppy classes and frequent outdoor play helps!

Yeah, I like cats but dogs are where it's at! Cats are so moody. Dogs are always happy to see you when you get home. [:)]

Awwwwww. So pretty!

I'd love to do this to my dog but 1) it's a boy and my husband would kill me for humiliating him and 2) he's not so pretty. He has the cute, smooshed, sad face that boxers are known for.

Well at least she doesn't poo in the water. I don't know what it is with my boy. I can take him to go to the bathroom before we get to the beach , no matter what he ALWAYS goes poo in the water. I get so embarrassed. So I stopped taking them, because nothing makes feel more shamed then having to go fish dog poo out of the 1 lake dogs are actually allowed at, while all the other dog owners are staring at me with disapproval.

Which is why I LOVE dogshaming.com because it shows me other dogs do weird and bad things all the time.

I don't own a dog, but the neighbors dog and I have adopted each other on a part time basis.
Whenever he sees me, he runs over to me with such a look of joy on his face. It's contagious!
I don't have any pictures of him, so I hope this contribution will do.
