The Mexican place next to the laundry mat , it always stinks really bad , like they're leaving old grease lay around or something. And I notice it's not just them, but I've smelled other places you walk in and you're instantly hit with a really nasty over powering smell.

Don't worry I am not eating there, but when you have to use the bathroom when you're doing laundry, you have to go to the mexican cantina and use their bathroom, the laundromats bathroom is for employes only.

If it smells dirty or greasy it is.

Me, I can't stand the smell of McDonald's. Nasty, sweet-oily niff.

I'm sure it's not due to lack of hygiene: it's just what they cook and what they cook it with. I can't stand the smell of veggie cafes, either. The odour always makes me think of very thin women with bad hair and spots.

my mom and I were considering eating there once, but the stench of the place drove us away.

Great place for a laundrymat. Just have a couple of margaritas while the laundry is getting done. Perfect..

It usually means the oil hasn't been strained, cleaned and/or changed and also they may be using a cheap grade of oil that burns at a lower temperature. They also might be using a temperature that is too high for whatever oil they are using.
There again, they just might be dirty, unhygenic grubs

because they ARE using old grease or saving it to be recycled. There's a lot of places around here who have these huge grease oil barrels in which they throw their grease and oil and then it's picked up every week or so to either be recycled or given to people who refine it to be used as auto fuel.

The laundromat was there first, and the Mexican Cantina came after, but yeah You could totally get wasted while waiting for Laundry!

Yeah, but that's out back or even away from the shopping center. It shouldn't be stinking up the inside of the restaurant. I agree that they're probably just using old grease. Blech.

Around here they are right outside the kitchen and sometimes with the right winds coming off the bay, you can smell it all the way inside the restaurant. I mean, this is a city. There isn't a lot of room for where to place something outside.
