Here is a very nice piece about his life by Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Jerry Buss: A True Sports Visionary From a life of poverty he earned a Ph.D. in chemistry. Moved to LA then caught the real estate wave at just the right time and rode it all the way to the top. As a basketball fan, thanks for all the fine memories.
