I'm no longer Vanilla, I'm Curious now (based on the number of posts for those of you who are a bit slow tonight).  WOW, I can remember those days when I was literally that new to the lifestyle.  Oh, how things have changed in the last 13 years.

Congrats. One "secret" to graduating further is to post one line posts to your previous posts (regardless of whether they make sense or you have a good reason). I post a lot (when I am "here" at CM - but usually have something I think I have to say (it might, on the other hand bore other people to tears, hehe, I have no idea). The bad news is, after "Curious" the next step is, "Newbie."  Almost as bad as "Vanilla."

Newbie isn't even as close to as bad as vanilla. We were all newbies once, but many of us have never been vanilla.[:)]

Yes, I know we were all newbies once and there's nothing wrong with being a newbie.  What bothered me about being labelled as "Newbie" on collarme is that when I actually was a newbie to BDSM, back when it was just plain old SM, you were still in kindergarten.

Edited to add:  I hope you don't interpret this as a flame or any sort of putdown on your age, because it was NOT intended that way.

Would it make a lot more sense for newbie to come after vanilla but before curious? I can't decide......maybe just skip newbie? BTW....does anybody know how many posts you need to graduate from one rank to the other?
