I understand that I am not the easiest person to get along with, but I have my standards listed on my profile and if anyone has a problem with me I really don't care. Thats all I have to say about that. I saw a user view my profile then when I tried to send a message thanking them they blocked me for no reason. Whats the point of that really? Oh and to the people who see me as rude and standoffish you are correct.

I'd guess that the point of blocking you was probably because they didn't want to see or hear from you. Maybe because you are rude by your own admission. Some people just block and hide profiles they are not interested in so they don't see the same ones every search.

It's not a bdsm thing though.

Many people do preemptive blocking if they see a profile on social network sites that squiggs them, is negative, ect. If you admit openly that you don't follow rules, that you are rude and standoffish. You can't be surprised when people simply remove you from their world.

Athena, I don't care if its not BDSM related in case you didn't notice this is a BDSM site and it occurred here. I post where I like, if people don't like it my post can be moved, old threads I comment on locked etc. People cannot remove me from a world I wasn't a part of to begin with, and Thank you OsideGirl. I'm glad my point was made.

I'll take that a step farther and say what's the point of constantly emphasizing over and over in every interaction the OP has had on the boards that she is all that and more? It's like, ok, we got it, but it's almost the only thing she ever has to offer. I think everyone gets the point, and has gotten it long before.

Being rude and stand-offish is not a good thing in my books, no matter where you are in vanilla or BDSM.

It's a horrible and negative trait that nobody likes.

I've heard that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but who wants flies?
Honestly, I've never understood people who were proud of being rude, or of veiling their rudeness by calling it "blunt honesty."
I will say that I often put people on hide simply because I don't want to see the same profiles over and over, and some are blocked because they have said something up front that bothers me.

How do I put this? I think the term BULLSHIT applies, and the definition epic fail is also appropriate.

1) If someone contacts you, they are looking to see if they are compatible, they are not going to serve you immediately, and with that attitude, they never will.

2) The majority of male or female subs that I know would tell you where to put that attitude if that is the way you open your correspondence with them.

3) This lifestyle is based on give and take, if you dont offer anything that may appeal to someone, then why bother?

4) if you approached me with that attitude in the real world, you would find yourself on the wrong end of an ex army Sargent, and that will fuck up your week.

Notsweet, I think you are wrong, I would guess this is a female, weighs in at about 250 and looks worse than two week old roadkill.

Judging from the posts, I would say he/she is agoraphobic, suffers very low self esteem, and has a definite social problem. There have been psychological studies of people who behave this way online, and the conclusions are rather enlightening. Even the ones that behave this way in public suffer from a low self esteem and have to belittle others to make themselves feel good.

I doubt this person will last long on collarme, every body will end up blocking their profile on the other side and putting them on ignore on this side. This community does not tolerate this kind of bullshit.
