I find it difficult to think that someone who claims to be the age she claims writes so poorly, or speaks like that. My time around teenagers tells me that she's in the 16 year old range, developmentally. And I'm being generous there. There's an insecurity and defense that says, "They won't like me, so at least I can give the appearance of being in charge of their not liking me." I am dying to read the study on online personalities! I've never seen one, and I'd love to know if it reads similarly to my own thoughts about it. I'm definitely going to look that up!

The standoffish part I actually am doubtful of. Otherwise you wouldn't have been bothered by being blocked and you wouldn't have cared enough about it, to come here and blather on about it. Ohhhhhh, I think you wish you didn't care but you do. The only reason you want to be standoffish is self preservation. It's easier to be cuntish and drive others away before they can hurt you. Reminds me of my eldest sister-in-law. She is a pretty fucking miserable human being.

He is in his second year of the study and has not written up the paper yet. I am surprised that people actually agree to meet him so he can do an actual profile on them in person, he told me that out of 190 subjects so far, 87 have actually agreed to meet in person. Of the ongoing studies, this one looks interesting though it is just in the early stages. There are a lot of studies in progress listed here. here is another one. As soon as my friend starts posting findings online, I will be sure to put up a topic in off topics.
