ORIGINAL: jlf1961 Now may I suggest you get him into roping, bronc riding, bull riding, bull dogging, roping, and driving real fast... you know the really important things a boy should know. Oh hell no! See with his disability (he's autistic and on the extreme end of the spectrum) he would try and rope me or someone else just because he didn't see the difference. Lol And... I have seen him driving a go-cart. The idea of him driving a car. YIKES. I did not know he was autistic, so I apologize for my statement, it was most definitely out of line. I have an autistic nephew with other developmental problems, so I understand. I also have a friend that was diagnosed as severely autistic as a child and he is now a research chemist at BASF. He is now considered to have a different form of autism, I will not attempt to name it, since my spelling sometimes challenges the spell check in fire fox. All I know is that he is high functioning and very successful, he has a few patents to his name. I do not know how they thought he was a severe case, hell I could not tell he was autistic at all.
