So, it's supposed to be taboo because there's something inherently wrong with black men being with white women? That explains it. It always seemed kind of racist to me, but I never could quite why. Thank you. I absolutely was NOT inferring it was taboo to me in any way. I certainly was not therefore saying that interracial relationships are wrong in any way. It is taboo to a lot of people, partially for the reasons I stated. Some of my reasoning was based my experience, and I feel I can speak on that.
It's not inherently wrong ot taboo in my mind, for anyone of consenting age, to be with anyone else of consenting age. Well, maybe a little, when there is a 30 year age gap, but I wouldn't preach to anyone about my slight discomfort with that.
I know my handle says blk, and that may make make some folks uncomfortable, but my thinking is all over the place around here, and I know I've never said there is any group of people I woulnd't have a relationship with. M
