It's cute and all, most of them normally are. But why do people have to make it so dang long? Three minutes and the kitten doesn't do anything new. I had my fill at about the thirty second mark.

I started Abby out as a kitten with a little warm water in the sink. Once I got her to stand in the water up to her ankles I started bathing her in plain water. After she got used to that I started using a pet safe shampoo. Once I healed I kept at it till she will let me do it to her when she needs it. She gets dried off in a big fluffy towel and then blow dried, not in her face. I think she'd resist a lot more but the hot air is something she really likes.

Tried a couple of things with mine when they were babies. "Please don't bite me in the face. You don't shit under the sofa, here's your box. Please, I love you too, but don't bite me in the face." Now I just beg them to let me live.

I TOTALLY agree. I couldn't believe it seemed to go on for an eternity. Maybe I should have warned about that. My apologies to all!

Ah, so they see you as their sub, too, eh?! They do have the power, don't they?

I know it must sound silly and senseless to those not as fond of critters as some of us, but I truly do not mind. For what seems like the little I give to them, I get so much back. I never met a critter that didn't feed me spiritually, and make me feel the better for my experience with them.

That includes the mentally/emotionally and phsically damaged ones, that would present a danger to most. In fact, it is from those I have learned some of the most important lessons of all.

While I do not consider myself an animal whisperer, there are those who will argue. I consider myself blessed and fortunate for having come into this world with an innate understanding of their needs, and how to accommodate in the way they need to be accommodated, without compromising myself.

As a result, with the exception of one seriously, neurologically brain damaged kitty, I have always had fabulous relationships with them all, with none developing any aberrant behaviors. They have all been incredibly well-balance, happy and fulfilled.

By Gawd, but they have taught me much this time around. I hope I learn even more next time around.

Duskypearls, I don't know which is true, but I prefer to think my cats are just uber-dominant, and not that I'm so submissive I will even submit to cats.
Though William is big enough to hold me down....

I find that with a lot of the animal videos. Most of them, at thirty seconds, maybe a minute and I've seen how cute your animal is. I won't even watch my own doing something continuously for longer than that.

Okay someone was able to resist the mind control of a cat. The world needs more of them.

Actually....in case that kitten was in as much pain as my previous cat Cesar has been, about a year before he died, (he had an encounter with whatever critter outside and once he made it inside he did not move anymore at all off my bed....I even had to place him on his litter box to ensure he can pass his stuff....and the vet told me then, that his hole body was just one aching mass of pain, hence why he did not really move anymore once he got inside...so in that situation I think I could also placed him in such a bowl with water...

on another note, Urmel is also not much afraid of water....now...I am not saying that he would do that...but as i bathed him as a kitten fairly often (he had fleas and was in my view too young to use chemicals to get rid of them), I bathed him daily in slightly warm water....that way the fleas stopped moving and I could pluck them and drown them in the used bucket....so since then he is not really afraid when I use the water pistol against him....unlike the others
