Not true.
However, there has to be communication regardless of how many there are.

That whooshing sound you just heard was the Highlander reference that just missed the top of your head.

You have multiple Doms and yet your profile says you are looking for more. Interesting.

Doms are like Pokemon. You gotta catch them all.

As a sub with multiple Doms, how do I decide who is Master?

If you cannot be "tamed", "broken", "domesticated", or "trained" then it sounds to me like you're the master of you. And I have to admit I'm a bit curious about your desire to challenge a dominant. Of course everyone means something different by that word but I can tell you that for myself and the people I recognize as "dominant" challenging them is a very bad idea which is guaranteed to turn out poorly. All of your profile sounds like top/bottom stuff to me.

Who's on first? [sm=dunno.gif]

To be fair, that's the only line I remember from that movie.

~FRing it~

It honestly sounds like you have a group of Masters in the moment, but not a Master in the traditional sense of the word (at least to the way I define it...I realize its different for everyone else). Lots of topping, lots of play partners...but I guess I just dont see how you can answer to only one when you answer to three or four or whatever.

Dyfrynt -> RE: Who's in charge? (2/26/2013 9:44:46 AM)

After reading the wording in your profile, and the comments you have made in this thread, there is little doubt in my mind who is in charge. You. You have a stable of men who are allowed to see to your needs, and you are looking for more.

Nothing wrong with that. More power to you. But if you think you are the sub here, you are not being honest with yourself.

Judging by your profile, with all the TFTB stuff and your challenging statements, I would say you are and intend to stay that way.

Well I believe Masters deserve a larger level of obedience from their subs, something that is greater than play. Whereas Doms are limited to play time only, they have no investment in my life.

Deserving of it or not, Masters/Mistresses may very well expect a larger level of obedience from their subs. But I disagree that Dom/mes are limited to play time and have no investment in their subs' lives. There are plenty of Dom/mes out there who would agree with me. However, according to your own definition, neither of those Doms are your Master, you are.

And the whooshing sound that you just heard was the notion that the highlander reference doesn't work if it's not actually true that there can only be one.

Without wishing to sound like the old dude in Karate Kid... You will know when a master presents himself, you will not need to ask.

Judging by your o/p and your subsequent posts, I don't think that any of them is your master.

OK, even allowing a lot of room for what the word "master" might mean I have to admit, the notion that someone might have a very dominant influence in their lives and not know it is incomprehensible to me.

Are you sure it wasn't your cranial commode flushing because you tried to formulate a thought? Please direct your dimwitticism towards the individual who made the reference if you have a problem with it.

Bless your heart.

TieMeInKnottss -> RE: Who's in charge? (2/27/2013 3:07:08 AM)

Honestly....you are not a sub and they are not doms. You all like kinky sexual hookups. There is nothing wrong with that..the only problem with mislabeling is that it makes it hard to find what you are looking for. Some will call it "bedroom Dom or sub". In my opinion it is easier to find what you are looking for than what I am looking for. The reason they are ok with limited availability is because they just want to play out some fantasies. If you are hungering for more, you need to change your profile. A true Dom who wishes to master is not looking for a sub/slave that openly admits to having a shit list or being untamable.. That does not mean they want a door mat ( heck,I don't think one sub who has answered you could be called a doormat!). I think good Doms WANT a sub/slave who is intelligent, self-controlled, recognizes their own self-worth.

Again, nothing wrong with what you are doing as long as everyone is making informed decisions (they know that you are having sex with other men & you know if they have other sex partners..and all those partners know how many people they are having secondhand sex with..). As Sheldon's mom said on Big Bang Theory, "just because a cat has kittens in the oven doesn't make them "biscuits"

Thunderdome. Two doms enter, one dom leaves.

Damn you beat me to it! I was going to suggest a no holds barred, WWE style, cage match...but Thunderdome is even better since it involved bungee cords and chainsaws from what I remember.

Toysinbabeland -> RE: Who's in charge? (2/27/2013 6:24:27 AM)

All kidding aside:
when I originally said did you ask them,
it was sarcasm at it's finest.
( well, at it's finest for me anyway)

you do not have a Master, evidently you have 'sessions of play'
which is all well and good, but please do not kid yourself that there is some form of belonging to only 1 of these people.

I could go on and write a 14 paragraph dissertation as to the meaning of responsibility in ownership, but semantics can pull anything apart..... including the number of paragraphs I chose.

if you have to ask others, then either you're just looking for attention, be it negative or positive,
or you are sadly mistaken about the dynamic.

disclaimer:
I am NOT judging what you do.
I just won't call a cat a dog.
