No it's not April Fools day, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-21627716 Shall we file this under North Korea starts to open up to outsiders? Or publicity seeking ex basketball star makes yet another weird decision? Or is it just a huge WTF moment?

I'll be interested to see if Dennis Rodman has more to say, once he isn't on the home court of an absolute dictator. Especially an absolute dictator with lots of prison camps, and the bomb. He ain't stupid. We'll probably have to wait for the HBO documentary to find out what he really thought. I get a kick out of Rodman's public escapades, and I would absolutely party with him. (not as big a kick as that cameraman, mind you)

The question becomes, is Rodman really going to take basketball to communism or is Kim really trying to bring communism to basketball ? Oh, I know that there is no taint of profits as you need real money for that and N. Korea has none. In fact, no parking, no concessions and no depreciation schedule. Must just be a photo-op.

I still can't get my brain around the whole weird thing. I hear this as something like "Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un walk into a bar..." and there are just TOO many punchlines.

Pay attention now......I was talking about your party....I plainly stated that.....right there, in Englisgh. Can`t help if you can`t read or refuse to pay attention.... I was embarrassing your party for calling our President a dictator while pointing out what a real one is....but you missed that.....rich is but another parroter of the your party`s sad talking points.... I don`t think you have a clue enough to be embarrassed.....tho.

Probably the residual sand in the vagina, left over from this administrations new record for the shortest "diplomatic breakthrough," since the truce. What was it? Like three weeks from food deal, to rocket launch? When I see that a documentary from the DPRK is airing, I'll set the DVR, or catch it on Netflix. I always seem to find time for a good look, when photo collections smuggled out show up in chain emails. If nothing else, Rodman got cameras into the country, and may open some more eyes. It's tough to imagine, not just living in such repressive poverty and starvation, but the crushing atmosphere of complete reverence, submission, and outright worship of the state/godking, that attacks and destroys any who are not sufficiently adoring of the dear one. One thing that strikes me though, when they interview those who have escaped that place, is that three generations of the defectors family were likely locked in prison camps, after they made it out.

Rodman and Kim the Youngest seem to be made for each other .......... Rodman is a pretty flamboyant and colourful character, and North Korea desperately needs all the flamboyance and colour it can get.

Dennis Rodman lived in Newport Beach California for a short time. He pissed off his neighbors with all night parties. He was kicked out of Hooters, could not keep his hands off the girls and got into a fight. Was co owner of a bar that was shut down for serving alcohol to female minors. Finally the City of Newport Beach had enough of him, slapped him with numerous violations, including having his house shot down, the smell from the place was awful and inspection declared it unliveable, then there were all the unpaid fines and failure to appear in court. Now he is trying to be a dipolmate to North Korea?
