Hmm. I wan't going to respond but than i read your post. Well, if your argument is that I am a fool because i posted in the wrong thread. Ehh. You have a low standard for what it takes to be a fool. However being blunt and being a bitch is a fine line. There is a tact that comes in when you are dealing with people on a day to day basis. If it is the case you tell a person don't do that you will get hurt and they do it anyway. Then you have a fool. If it is the case someone does something without the full knowledge of something than they are dumb.
I really didn't realize where I was posting. I just hit new topic and ran with it. So I learned.

I also want to be clear that I am not targeting Ladypact with this question. She only inspired it. In that i didn't know how to deal with Dom's. I had some idea of total submission all the time being commanded by all those around them.
IE like a drill Sargent.
I am growing in my knowledge. I feel this thread turned out good in the long run. :)

chatterbox24 -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 2:55:33 PM)

This thread is making me think of some of the RUDE things my dom used to say to me.

"I would like to fix one of your favorite dishes and cook for you" His response. "Hell no!!! you can't even wash dishes right, I can't eat your food."
My response " that was really rude!" HE says back " You are to defensive"
My translation of the whole conversation was. You can't wash dishes right, your dirty, so I cant eat your food.

ANother conversation.
I see a can of cat food on the counter. I say "DO you have a cat now?" He responses "Yes" I say " Oh wow can I see it?" He responses "NO!" I say "WHy not? I love animals, can I at least know its name?" HIs response "NO, you can not"

?????. THats not Dom thats called ASSHAT. LMAO.

kiwisub12 -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:00:35 PM)

My late Sir was an absolute sweetheart - but if you disobeyed him, you would see another side. That didn't make him a bitch - that made him consistant, enforcing his rules and being what i wanted and needed. I knew that i wouldn't get in trouble for following rules, and i knew that i would get into trouble for the opposite.

For me, someone who was a bitch just because they had a bad day would be someone who i wouldn't see anymore.

and my sweetie? - i somehow cracked the screen on his spare laptop, and dreaded telling him - but instead of getting pissed, he hugged me and told me not to worry..... no bitches here [:D]

estimer -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:22:56 PM)

I went back and re read your post.
Yes, I would define it as bitchy. I wasn't whining about why they took my picture down. I was curious to why of all things to be taken down Einstein really!?
The girl that posted before that stated that "what the fuck does that have to do with BDSM". That was direct but to the point and the end of it and I don't consider that bitchy.
Yes the TOS is available and no I didn't read it. But my argument had nothing to do with weather or not they had the power to do it.
Nor did i ignore your post. Actually right afterward Posted this and 1 other thread. That was posted correctly.

Also, as to it being clear um...no. This is what it says about images So I would have stopped after images and content(not correct but i would have). Its not until later they when they talk about intellectual property (no copyright on my image) do they say they have the right to remove any image for what ever reason.
Weird placement i'd say. So its not as clear cut as you put it. So some times you need to guide other times stern enforcement is required.

So "hey dumbass wrong thread" not bitchy.
The long "moomy he does it" thing =bitchy.

So no its not spoon feeding. If your going to spread knowledge spread knowledge

13.5. The First Amendment Applies to Arbitration Proceedings. Any arbitration tribunal shall consider the First Amendment to the United States Constitution to be in force and effect between the parties. Both parties stipulate to the applicability of the First Amendment's protection of free speech, expression, and association, and both parties stipulate that case law interpreting the First Amendment shall be admissible and considered to be binding authority upon the Arbitrator.
13.6. Severability. 13.7. Attorneys' Fees. In the event any Party shall commence any claims, actions, formal legal action, or arbitration to interpret and/or enforce any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, or relating in any way to this Agreement, including without limitation asserted breaches of representations and warranties, the prevailing party in any such action or proceeding shall be entitled to recover, in addition to all other available relief, its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs incurred in connection therewith, including attorneys' fees incurred on appeal.
13.8. Complaints - California Residents: The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1020 N. Street, #501, Sacramento, CA 95814, or by telephone at 1-916-445-1254.
13.9. No Waiver. No waiver or action made by Us shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent default of the same provision of this Agreement. If any term, clause or provision hereof is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity or operation of any other term, clause or provision and such invalid term, clause or provision shall be deemed to be severed from this Agreement.
13.10. Headings. All headings are solely for the convenience of reference and shall not affect the meaning, construction or effect of this Agreement.
13.11. Complete Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties with respect to Your access and use of the Website and the Materials contained therein, and Your Membership with the Website, and supersedes and replaces all prior understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
13.12. Other Jurisdictions. We make no representation that the Website or any of the Materials contained therein are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to them from territories where their content may be illegal or is otherwise prohibited. Those who choose to access the Website from such locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for determining compliance with all applicable local laws.
14. STIPULATED LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
14.1. In various provisions in this Agreement, We have outlined liquidated damages amounts to be applied as penalties against You if You violate these specific provisions. You specifically agree to pay these amounts. In agreeing to pay liquidated damages, You acknowledge that this amount is not a penalty, that the actual damages are uncertain and difficult to ascertain, but that this amount represents the parties' good faith attempt to calculate an appropriate compensation based on anticipated actual damages.
14.2. For any breach of a portion of this Agreement that does not specifically state a liquidated damages amount, You hereby agree that any breach of this Agreement shall result in liquidated damages of $5,000.00 per occurrence. You specifically agree to pay this $5,000.00 in liquidated damages.
14.3. For any breach of this Agreement resulting in liquidated damages owed by You, You specifically agree and We expressly reserve the right to assign Our rights to these liquidated damages to a third party.
14.4. If We are required to enlist the assistance of an Attorney or other person to collect any liquidated damages or any other amount of money from You, or if We are required to seek the assistance of an Attorney to pursue injunctive relief against You, then You additionally agree that You will reimburse Us for all fees incurred in order to collect these liquidated damages or in order to seek injunctive relief from You. You understand that even a nominal amount of damages may require the expenditure of extensive legal fees, travel expenses, costs, and other amounts that may dwarf the liquidated damages themselves. You agree that You will pay all of these fees and costs.

TNDommeK -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:28:02 PM)

I think there are times to be bitchy and times not to be. I am not the bitchy type, but can be.
I think I have to agree with OSide on this one when she says "if all one has to be dominant is bitchy...." That is a very true statement.

crazyml -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:33:27 PM)

(note: bitch is being used gender neutral)
So is it a requirement that a dom be outright mean?

Errm... can you understand why my first reaction might have been "what a fucking stupid question"?

But of course you're not confused, you're creating a whole thread because your botty is sore from another thread?

Perhaps someone should start a thread asking whether it's a requirement that all men that get their asses kicked by women on this site turn into whining little babies?

estimer -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:36:01 PM)

This thread has been interesting. But it shows me some deeper philosophical stuff. For the most part I feel that the purpose of the dom is to do that, dominate. However, domination doesn't come through fear alone. Only domination, true, domination comes from the connection felt between a slave and master. What i have seen through the posts is some who had a clearly abusive dom left that situation. But the people required a connection between slave and master that allows them to grow.

It seems to be a kind of respect of the person(s) that transcends simple fear and punishment.

estimer -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:42:18 PM)

No not the point. I had a shitty way of posting originally. It really wasn't a picture it was a gif.

The point was

of all things i have seen Einstein really.

If I went to the moderators and bitched you would have had grounds to make this argument

Shh. Make cogent arguments not antagonizing statements.

crazyml -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:46:05 PM)

But you can understand why my first reaction might have been "what a fucking stupid question", right?

I mean, a terribly clever person like you with your excellent use of words like "cogent" could see how I might come to the misapprehension that you're a whiny dickwad, right?

I don't think you're being entirely honest about what "the point was"... I think "the point" was to have a little whine.

But if I'm mistaken, I wonder if you could have a pop at actually making your point, in a cogent way?

Ta!

Considering the post I just took that quote from, I'm not sure you want to be throwing those stones in your glass house.

estimer -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 3:55:52 PM)

I will troll you its fun.

As to my point its all there in the Diatribe. Yes I can see how that sounds whiny. I should have taken more time to point out my reasoning for posting.

I feel that Residentsadist did a better job of stating my point.

Its like my argument with schools in Arkansas. You can watch Schindlers List and see people getting brutally killed left and right.
But the teacher almost gets fired because of the scenes where the CO of the prison camps girls Tit falls out and everyone was naked when they were selecting who was going to die.

I mean really get pissed about violence not about the tits.

Its the same kind of relationship to this Einstein thing. But in the case of the nude people religion was the cause of the argument.
What was the cause for the removal of Einstein. Its much like the cosmological constant. Nobody really knows.

So chill. This thread is has good possibilities among-st the agression.

Being Einstein is dead and I doubt his estate is enforcing copyright infringement on alt lifestyle sites over avatars that involve no profit oif gain from using the pic... I agree it was fucking silly to pull that pic on their own. I can't imagine a mod that has nothing better to do than fuck with a bunch of shit that is almost old enough to be public domain. I can only guess that someone, somehow complained.

Kaliko -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 4:01:15 PM)

Wait...so we're not talking about bitchy doms?

crazyml -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 4:02:15 PM)

Oh... so your point, all along, was to have an informed debate about the rights and wrongs of mods pulling pics?

In that case, I'm very sorry, and would be happy to join in the discussion.

But, and I say this with enormous respect.... that isn't the fucking reason you started this thread, is it now?

estimer -> RE: Is there a line between bitch and dom? (3/2/2013 4:03:17 PM)

That quote by itself is meaningless with out the rest.

However, maybe i shouldn't have responded at all since i started this post. There is some good information here.

I really am not out to piss anyone off (to late). I took offence to the fool comment.
So i stated my objections as clearly as possible.

I pretty sure some where I said eluded to multiple reasons for this post. It was just inspired by that annoying picture post. I am new to talking to Dom's in general and in cases in the past i tired to assume the role that I thought I was supposed too instead of just being me. So i got my ass handed to me.
That was the other inspiration. Before i was nervous to the point of being a pussy and now I may be over the top.

Ehh.

Haha so given that when I was typing i didn't see your post. I will accept your respect. And it really wasn't to right and wrong. It was more like ill reasoned i feel.
Because to there is no wrong reason for them to pull down the pic that is their right. I just am curious as to the reason they took it down.

Ha this is a great learning experience. Self, don't fuckin type shit fast without thinking thoroughly. It can cause a shit storm.

Residentsadist summed my argument up well. That's why I posted amen after his post.
