I don't know for sure as I have never tried it. But on my skin a surface scratch will scar. Those do fade after a year or so but anthing that draws blood on me leaves a mark.

From my surgery last August I still have light scaring from the bandages lol though it is finally almost totally faded and probably will be completely gone in the next couple months.

I scar easy as well, but mine is due to infections, which I get VERY easily (side effect of diabetes). A large reason I can’t say if playing with needles is any thing like actual piercing other than my ears, back before I was 13…is because of the slow healing and greater risk for infection! I think getting my ears done hurt more than the needles Master uses.
I don’t have marks left on me from the needles, which surprises me honestly, never an infection…small scraps on my body infect easy, and then scar because of that, taking so long to clear up.
I could NEVER do needle play with one I didn’t trust totally…but Yes, the blindfold works for me…Master asking if I am ok all the rest really, big help, now and then, he slows, giving me time to get my breath too. But the main point I never thought of scars, but never have had them from the needles either. The needle is thin, I know I bruise from the ones at the Dr’s…yet not from Master’s hand? But then again he doesn’t go into the body same way or reason as the Dr does…LOL

I wonder if maybe the reason I just assume it hurts so bad.. is that it will be put in as deep as say.. a shot would be. I am not sure the depth that most use.. is it the first layer of skin..does it go into muscle...I think that would all make a difference..maybe in the bruising..or even in scars.

They are not that deep. Needles come in different lengths, different gauges, and can be used different ways. Though the Dom that i play with also does saline injections, which do tend to go deeper, the needles that are used for more "regular" play, don't go as deep.

But when it comes to needle play... drool. I totally despise it... but totally love it. I squirm.. in actual fear... about cry when getting prepped (I think this falls under mind fuck) once started.... i'm gone...

Mr Warren.. yes I admit...I think it's the mind fuck I love more than the needles... ( they're not bad either though) But it's the rest... the getting ready.... that gets me so high I believe.

Needle play with a knowledgeable Domme is the ultimate. Did a butterfly once and my Wife/Ms was an RN so had both skill and access to needles.

But no one answered the question how and where do you get needles w/o a prescription. Have had some come from England but very expensive that way.

Someone mentioned vet supply ? Anything more specific ?

If you go to any of the reputable tattoo/peircing shops and esplain to them what you are looking for the needles for I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.   I'm not a big fan of needles, I've had my nose and navel peirced at diffrent times in my life and neither were the best experiences, probably would have helped if I hadn't done my nose myself.. ouch *s*

I've started enough IV's on people to know there are certian places that hurt more than others but it does also go back to how a person perceives pain/sensation.   I could never start an IVon myself tho(amazing cure for a hang-over btw).
I have seen some beautiful needle play designs, the needles had feathers attached (all very sterile and safe) and when she was done it was gorgeous, the person she was working on had a set of feather wings , he was definatly flying on the endorphin rush.

My Top chooses what play we do but He takes alot of consideration into what He will do, of all the things we have done Fire play was still the most frightening if not the least painful......   Infact I would probably choose needles over fire if it was my choice. But then I'm kinda kooky *w*

Saline injections? Now, those I have seen done in pictures. I feel like I keep asking..but what does that do? I mean, does it give a rush in the blood? I have had saline in IV's and it didn't do anything.. so I am just not sure. Have you had this done to you before?

That is me...lol..totally. I went to a new Dr a few weeks ago... and they were getting ready to draw blood.. I totally freaked out..and begged them not to. You should have seen the nurses face...I have a tatt on my leg...my chest..and the back of my neck..plus..she had to check my throat..and saw the tongue piercing. I didn't find much sympathy in that room.. I can tell ya that.

I think I would love this done as a mind fuck.. I really do. It wouldn't take much to fool me if needles were involved..I know that. I think though.. once I got started.. I would be like.. stick me more!!! That is how piercings are..after I get one.. I try to figure out a new place for one...probably the same thing..it's the rush.

Blood doesn't bother me.. I actually have done cutting..and the blood had a sort of erotic thing ( I have no idea why)...but it did.

I think it's just the actual thought of the needle..not so much the needle.. I can't even be in the room when my dog gets a shot..that is how bad it is.

I would have never in a million years thought I would consider fire play until Knight decided it was time to face a fear of mine. I have to admit there is no one else on this earth, not even my husband whom I trust with my life that I would have let do fire play on me. I watched Him do it a few times on others, it was pretty to watch but wow, that flight or fight syndrom had kicked in and I was looking for a place to run, but He talked me through it. Not something I want to do again but at least I can say I did it......

but you're right I'd go for the needles first *g*

For the saline injections, it makes the area much more sensitive for a while, maybe an hour or so. It depends on how many saline injections He does. The first is not so bad, but with the increased sensitivity, each beomes progressively more "interesting". Did i mention i play with a Sadist.

He also does saline infusions, like from an IV bag which makes the area much larger (like a breast) but it is temporary, for about 12 hours and who doesn't want bigger boobs (chuckling).

Lol.. well.. I would have to say that I have found a hard limit with that saline thing.. I think I will stick to lactation for the bigger boobs...
