Very true.. I bet you were had a sense of pride after you tried it, right?  I mean.. I guess if I did it.. I could at least then say I had...that would probably feel good.

Not really no. There was no pride there what-so-ever. Only a feeling of relief that I had gotten it over with. The first time someone volunterred me for it, the second time, for some unknown reason, I found myself asking for a repeat. [&:] Still can not figure that one out. All in all though, there was nothing more than a sense of relief that I had gotten it over with.

Syringe needles, and it will be nothing like getting pierced.  If you can handle getting pierced then a little sticky thru the skin with a much smaller syringe needle would be a cake walk.....

Not always true.
me i fear needles, why.... lol no one knows.
i went to to the hosiptal one time and it took the doctors a good 5 mintues just to get me to let them stck me the frist time. Well guess what she missed.
Went again for the second time and that took another 5 maybe 10 mintues before i let them stck me again. And once again they missed.
By now as i am sure You would know i am pissed off.. They have this older lady come in for round 3.
i refused, and she keep tellin me that she has done this a number of times and she will not miss. Well since i dearly wanted to get it over with, and i wanted to find out what was wrong with me i let her. Before she stuck me a female nurse took my hand.
She stuck me and as she was i started to pass out. as i was passin out i heard a female voice saying "don't pass out" over and over. Well needless to say i passed out..
When i came to i asked why it took 3 times to get it right.
the answer...... my veins rolls.

But i have had my tongue pierced 2 times, (one hole has closed up) my nose, (took it out), and also my left ear.

So i think there is a difference there...

piercings goes right through the skin, and that is all.

and needles are meant for the veins

Infact I would probably choose needles over fire if it was my choice.  But then I'm kinda kooky *w*

denika

You can count me in on that one.. I am scared to death of the fire one... I think I would take a hundred needles over a touch of fire any day..and that is saying a lot.

You are both insane. Definately take fire over needles. [8D]  Fire is beautiful and alive. needles are nasty cold metal pokies.  *S*

denika -> RE: Do you do needle play..yet fear needles? (6/29/2006 2:07:52 AM)

but akisha that is the good part about needles, they aren't alive and generally are predictable while fire isn't. It can never really be controlled just directed. Not to mention a needle mark is way easier to hide than a burn scar.

I'll have to pass on to Rob how much you like fire [:)]

Also if you like bruising needle play, can make some extremely interesting, long lasting, and really not painful bruises, if the area, that had needles in it one time, is tightly bound the next time (close proximity in time is required). The times the bruises have been really long lasting was needles one night, bound the next day.

Also for the fun of it i had my nipples done and i really did not feel a thing. i can play with them, pull, or  twist and no pain. needles is a mental fear i think..... for me it is because nurses and doctors can not get it right . so i guess it is both for me

akisha -> RE: Do you do needle play..yet fear needles? (6/29/2006 8:35:36 AM)

True the scaring could be very bad, but that is why i'd only play with someone that had a clue *S*

Having done the whole butane light yourself on fire thing many times I must say i like the feel of fire on my skin, I haven't burnt myself yet *S*  probably more dumb luck then anything though.

Nooo telling Rob new ways to torture me lol He figures out more then enough on His own thanks [8D]

I need to work on the whole "inside" voice thing as well I think hehe

Well i have to agree with that. When i get blood work done i bruise for a couple weeks.  I'm guessing with needle play it would probably be alot more so.
