I'm not familiar with online personals or this lifestyle, so any tips would be appreciated.

Hopefully my profile does a good job of introducing me!

Not too bad...  You might become well known here if you post some of that smoking and bbq recipies down in the Recipes section.

You in the 8th in germany or that diagonal blue and white patch over in Wildflicken?  I was 72-75 in Grafenwohr (infantry in engineers) we did all the shit for the war games, when I was there.

I might pull all except your pic and the face pic (with honors) of the girl.  no sense having jealous and catty girls wading thru those pics, it will have a dampening effect.............LOL.

Nicely done! Some may find it tl;dr, but they're probably not good matches for you anyway.

My only advice is that you also join Fetlife, and take a look around to see if there are any local munches and play parties where you could meet people in person.

My phone isn't liking this forum, can't see your post while I reply. I was in the 1st infantry in Stuttgart. I did some maneuvers in Graf. I don't remember the rest... I will follow up.

Thank you for the input!

Thanks! I am on fetlife, with the same name, but that was just to join a group my girlfriends is in. I haven't used it really but that's the second time today it's been recommended so I'll get right on it!

Thanks for the feedback!

I like most of it.

I don't find the fact that you expect an intelligent partner to play dumb to be attractive. Most smart women will find that a turn off.

Either only date dumb women or deal with your insecurities. Confident men find their partner's assets something to be valued and used to better the relationship. If she cooked better than you, would you expect her to burn food in order not to upset your ego? Same thing.

I've got a feeling that you and I are going to get along just fine......... With three exceptions.

Kill the pic of your hand up your gal's pussy. The bruised ass pics are fine. (Your gal has a lovely smile, btw. I'm talking about her teeth, folks.) Seriously, you want to shy away from fisting or full hand shots around here. It's just a thing.

Yep, I agree with Des. That part about not wanting the girl to be too much smarter than you isn't phrased right. Instead, you should look at this as an area of potential. No woman in the year of 2013 wants to be told to reign in her intelligence.

Last, but not least, you don't care for horses? I know that raising thoroughbreds changes a person's outlook, but you're blaming the animal for the human influence. (Sorry.) Horses are beautiful, lovely, gorgeous creatures, so we'll have to have different opinions.

Overall, dude. I liked it. Probably a little heavy on the 'expert' designations, but some were explained. You get bonus points for a good avatar that doesn't look like everybody else, intelligent wording of the text, and being personable.

I look forward to our upcoming exchanges.

I understand what you're saying, and my current girlfriend tells me she does often and has all her life, because it makes men "easier" to deal with. I've asked several times to not do that with me, but she is smarter than I am, so I figured maybe she's on to something.

I appreciate you pointing out how it looks standing on its own, I see your point. I would prefer someone close to my level.
The last part, where you tell me what to do and provide two options, I consider inflammatory. So I'll just leave it at that.

Thank you! Her smile is charming! That's such a great pic of her SSD though, and I think the sepia tone makes it more classy. ;) heh. Nevertheless, point taken!
The intelligence thing is going away lol.
I don't HATE horses, but they aren't magical unicorns. They're pretty much like a sleek cow. If you had to get up at 5am every morning from jr high through high school to shovel stalls before school... Well, lets just say it kills the magic. I do appreciate the majestic aspect, but I'll take a dirt bike over a horse almost every time.

Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm looking forward to our visits. Do you use the chats?

No, she is not "onto something", unless her point is to mislead a man that she is not as smart as she might be.

If any man on the planet ever expects a woman tone down her intelligence, that guy would not exist for me and for the smart women I know.

If a woman's intelligence threatens a man, then that man is not confident and that turns me off.

I actually don't do chat unless it's rare exceptions. If it's in any way related to some form of work (organizing, consulting, promoting, etc) or real life folks that I know, I'll bend the rules a bit. Around here, most folks can get Me either through the forums or email. I figure we'll bump into each other quite a bit on the Poly forum, as I'm in a poly family, Myself. It's always good to have those in successful poly situations on the boards.

The forum is a big place, it's easy to get lost. I'm in a couple of IRC's now, so adding another would be simple.

I edited a post yesterday, but can't seem to find the link. My pc changed ass to SSD. "the road to hell..."

Thanks! Just because I don't particularly like horses, doesn't mean I'm going to eat them!

O I can find the post, but not the edit button.

I've made some changes, more and different pics, updated fetlife. I do pretty well in face-to-face interactions - I met my current girlfriend at a beach and she played vanilla for the first few months. I think she saw my potential from the beginning though. My next step is to find some munches etc. I suppose on Fetlife and take it from there, eh?

Thanks for the heads up on the editing, thought I was going crazier...

Kansas City is the biggest small town you'll likely ever be in. Coming from Dallas, or even Austin, it's quite quaint. I enjoy the small town feel, mild traffic, and access to many things you only find in larger cities. Also, as you may have heard, "they got some crazy little women here"...
