This will hopefully establish a legal precedent which can be used against this creep in the future, although from what the link story said, he seems to have made a 'non-acknowledgement' of culpability. Still, one can hope for the best. We have enough real issues to be faced that this society doesn't need losers like this in there sabotaging things out of petty vindictiveness. [sm=bury.gif]

They help poor folks get jobs,healthcare,advice,counseling,educational training and opportunities..... Why do they " need to be gone"? Oh right......they register and enfranchise poor folks, too...... Can`t have that.......now can we? Rightie don`t win electons, when that happens...... One would think that it`s yellow journalism and rightwing race-baiting, that had to go...... But no.....the NAACP and ACORN are now the villans......in alt-reality land.

OMG. he paid $100K to just ONE ACORN employe? They shut down due to his fraud - he could be looking at a LOT of lawsuits. I hope this marks the end of one of the worse chapters in politics.

This is good news..... Rightist media is now "reporting" on "news"(fake news,made-up-shit) that braightbart and the Daily Caller,WND.etc. post, as a way of forcing the poison into the media stream. Then fux-news takes it from there into the echo chamber to be repeated/defended here and elsewhere by the cult members. The more people that know about this use of propaganda and the discredited/right-biases/bigoted websites behind it......the better. The more of these rats that get cornered and stepped on before squirming away(losing lawsuits).....the better.

Most reports I read said he did this on his own and it was bratfart that was the main perpetrator of the fraud on the public......with the help of fox-noose to make it go mainstream. He earned a little money from it and was praised as a brave journalist and hero on fux-news... Another bigoted fake-outrage fraud that faux-news/bratfart/okeefe tried was the "new black panther" scary black man voter intimidation meme,with a delicate crust of " AG Holder giving black terrorist brothers" a pass....cus you know......he`s black too. Fox news hammered this race-baiting meme for weeks......fucking disgusting...... He split with most of his cohorts and they sued each other and there`s not much money if any left. It`s more about truth winning over bigots and their cheating rightwing buddies,though I hope the victim does get paid. It would b heart warming to know that okeefe wouldn`t be able to get a car loan or a mortgage before paying off this lean.

Cause I do not hear you bitching about the GOP still using ACORN to raise doubt about President Obama, like when they just added to a bill that ACORN would not be supported with tax payer money...even though it stopped existing years ago but it was in a bill last week His lies hurt many people who benefited from their work, but instead of pointing out the positives ACORN provided, the GOP still uses its failure as an example. Which is why small minded GOP elected officials still as of this week add them as a group not to support even though they no longer exist. So why do you and other GOP supporters not stand up against the false info being passed out and wasted on adding them to current bills.....by the party you support??? or at least call Fox news and tell them
