I saw this on the news yesterday. Pretty bad, the state he was left in. Toenails growing around his foot? Pulling out is own rotted tooth? Yagh...

Denial of a fair trial is pretty big. FFS, he was arrested for DWI. Should have been tried, held, and released in short order.

How does something like that even happen in a first world country?

I guess this guy must not have had any family checking in on him, or surely they'd have fought for him?

Stuff like this happens because The United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section does not answer complaints about the police.

Actually, family was checking on him according to another story but they were poor and 2000 miles away.
