That's another point, not the one I was responding to (being sources) nor the one you were posting about. So your attempt via your "does it" jab falls flat. You were responding to me and not the "98% of the time" poster.

Actually, you did respond to the 98% post that your buddy claimed.. so.. yeah... you dragged yourself into this.

So, 98% accuracy?

quote:

Best I can give is that on CNBC once it was stated that ZH gets it right more often than most. That spoke quite clearly and loudly. Of course, and I do recall, your stating you prefer the raw data and to make your own call. Given your analysis I have read here at CC, I'll go with ZH as they get it right more than most and you're part of the most.

I am still waiting on the "raw data".

"right more often than most"

Wtf does that mean? That it gets it right 51% of the time and the others 50%?

Not very good statistical averages when looked at from that perspective.

Your buddy made the claim. You jumped into the discussion WE were having. So, put up the source or drop it.

On what kind of volume and fundamentals?[8|]

What ? Not even a nice try.

On the fundamental that the sequester FORCED the Federal government to reduce its planned increase in spending. FINALLY! Thank you REPUBLICANS!

Let me see, the govt. is reducing spending, thereby reducing demand for goods, services and jobs and by a whole 2-2.5% and that's the reason the dow has hit 3 straight all time highs, we added almost 300,000 jobs going back to Jan. long before the so-called seq. that will take at least 3 maybe 6 mos. to be realized.....

.....and that's the 'fundamentals' of why we have all of this good economic news ? Like I said...not even a nice try.

It's all Kool-Aid. That supposed drop in unemployment only cost some billions in government spending.

Not that I wish it, but I'll dance for joy when it all comes apart and shoves it up the left's collective asses, being those who applaud the Obama's agenda. [:o]

How exactly is obama's agenda different than his predecessor's...we are still in the sand box and we are still in gitmo...same shit different flies

cuckoldmepls -> RE: Unemployment continues to drop and other good news... (3/11/2013 10:15:34 AM)

I seriously doubt the real unemployment rate is dropping. It's more likely people are moving back in with family members & falling off the unemployment rolls. You saw how they manipulated the data right before the election right? That's what it's all about folks. Making you think that the economy is improving even though we are descending into a 3rd world nation.

You should also keep in mind that they spent $6 trillion more than we had, to keep the economy dependent on gov jobs & jobs that depend on gov spending both of which are a liability for the long term. By the time Obama is finished he will have doubled the national debt from $10 trillion to $20 trillion in 8 yrs. That's not progress folks.

johnsmith13 -> RE: Unemployment continues to drop and other good news... (3/11/2013 10:35:40 AM)

the unemployment rate is a false statistic. after a while on it , the government deems you as not looking for work and takes you off the unemplyment list. it is just another way of making statistics look more favorable for the government. jsut like in new york city , they do not count drug realted murders in the murder count, making the city look less dangerous.

tazzygirl -> RE: Unemployment continues to drop and other good news... (3/11/2013 11:08:30 AM)

Which is why you should use the U6 numbers instead.

So I guess sources ZH uses, like BLS etc, are not good enough?

edit: what you show, Tazzy, is that you do not even look at ZH. If you really did you'd find the sources for much of what is there.

That still doesnt answer the question about the 98% accuracy, does it.

He didn't say it, I did.

(And you never asked a question regards same).

The point I replying to. Their point implied that the unemployment came down due to your Government adding people to its payroll.

Well, you should probably first learn sentence structure. "Their" point was actually a singular persons point and "his" point was that the unemployment figures are, were, and remain....bullshit.

"My" government....is in fact....your government and "OUR" government is a bunch of lying sacks...and once you figure that out (as well as sentence structure), feel free to, once again, join the conversation.

He didn't drag himself into anything, and we're not buddies...you simply impugned him because you co-opted my statement and assigned it to him.

Learn to read hon....it's all in the posts above.

Want a source? I gave it to you.

Allow me to repeat. www.shadowstats.com

I'll take responsibility for my posts...I'm confident he'll take responsibility for his.

He and I don't always agree....in fact, I've yet to find a post of his where I entirely do...and he hasn't yet told me he aspires to mine but rest assured....yours need work....at minimum....some classical, logical, thoughtful (earnest)....research.

Once I see that....I'll join the parade but hon....you gotta start reading something other than Yahoo news or the Enquirer.

And once you do...your finances (if you pay attention) will improve as easily as those others who do the same.

It was asked for... you have yet to provide it.

Noooooooooooooooooo reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy????????????????????????

Duh....

And he decided to take up your cause.

Again, you quoted a statistic of 98% accuracy for Zero Hedge.

You have YET to provide a basis for that STATISTIC (98%... since you keep missing me asking for this)

A non-Zero Hedge fund source, as asked for originally in post #30
