They're folks who I know go out of their way to stock food pantries (granted after they buy a ton of nonperishables) for the needy and be counted on to show up at soup kitchens come Christmas time. Yeah do they fly confederate flags and say some horrible things from time to time in privacy of their homes and friends but in public you'll never see a nicer bunch of folks. I mean shit one of the more racist of the bunch pulled over one time to help a black woman with two kids change a tire, granted we had her car jacked and the spare on under fifteen minutes but we watched a good dozen cars drive past as we came up on them. We laughed for a while afterwards as to what the poor woman must have been thinking as two skin heads got out of a pickup truck to offer kind words, use of their cell phone, and helped her get back on the road.

Things in this country aren't good, but they're not bad either so we're all waiting to see how this goes. Is a false sense of safety more important liberty. Is being rendered vulnerable to criminals at large more important than letting your neighbor own what he has owned for decades in the face of an ever dwindling crime and homicide rate in this country. You can pass whatever law you want, won't stop me from doing what I am going to do, I'll just do it in secret, I know how to take a 60% receiver for many types of firearms and turn them into fully functional firearms. I know how to make 60% receivers, and there is big business in those 60% receivers. So you go ahead and create a black market, I'll profit.

And maybe something you might not of known of, and feel free to look it up, .458 Socom. Ten rounds of .458 socom go into a 30 round mag of .223 and you can use a .223 follower. Granted I made single stack .458 Socom followers for my mags. Mag springs aren't that hard to make, a little used engine oil, a little time with a gas torch, a mandrel made of cut wood, voila. Mags are fairly easy to make as well.

See there will likely be a grandfathering of mags like in the last ban, and if you don't think folks weren't making new mags and using them look up "rebuild kits" and if you don't think folks were creating false time stamps on their mags for those few that were ever date stamped for Pre-Ban use, well it's pretty easy to inscribe those false date stamps. I mean I've already got my dummy 30 round mags worked up, they're real simple. ABS plastic to form the case, and a water soluable plastic such as PVA to create that "permanent" fixture that prevents more than ten rounds from being loaded. I mean there are many other ways but you can just buy the novel I'll eventually release, my fun little fictional novel that can double as a field manual. Ain't reality a bitch.
