Am I the only one that doesn't like it when guys in this site ask me if I have "had any luck" on CM? That question affects me like nails on a chalkboard.

Nope. It's not just you. People ask Me the same thing even though I'm not looking and only play with those in the local community.

Just use the phrase, "I make My own luck".

Thank you, I agree. This is not a casino, nor is it a fishing pond. Luck has nothing to do with it. Granted, my profile states that I am seeking, but the foregoing is still true. Besides, wtf do they think, given that the profile says I am seeking?

Same here. Sometimes I get sarcastic and say something like 'God no, I met my husband here!'

I can't understand why they'd even ask, Baroana. A fine-looking woman like you - I bet you get a good seeing-to whenever you need one!

I think we ALL get asked that Baroana and, yeah, it does irritate me sometimes. lol Sometimes I think they use that phrase so they have something to write when they can't think of anything else.

Well said, Peon ...

Baroana, so You know, guys are often asked that by a Lady, if they meet. It always strikes me as something said when one doesn't know what else to say.

I always take it that way.

But i did enjoy Lady Pact's comment ... and feel that would be a good response.

i think a better response would be to say had results from this site and yes there has been lots of results here not always good ones but like trail mix you have to go through alot of fruit and nuts to find the good stuff

Your pathological hypercriticalism is what I love about you, Baroana.

That said, I've been asked if I've "had any luck" a bazillion times.

Doesn't get any less irritating. I just delete the message.

It is basically them looking to see if they can get any interest out of you, but they don't have a clue. Typical non thought process:

"Hey, had any luck here on CM?"
"No, haven't found anyone yet".

"hmm, sorry to hear that......but you seem like a neat gal, and I liked your profile, wanna hook up?"

No clue.......

I either delete them, or send back something saying I found the domme or master of my dreams, who is going to turn me into their slutty sex slave and sell me to the Saudis for a million bucks..somehow, they never respond back....

They ask because not a lot of people keep their profile updated, so its a way to ask if you are with someone and are too lazy to update your profile, or if you keep it accurate...

I don't usually get upset with the question, I take it for what it is...desperation begging for hope!

I don't usually get upset at the question, either. Well, my profile is hidden now. But when it wasn't, and I was asked that question, I would actually usually start a conversation with them. It would be kind of funny...every few weeks they'd write to me...any luck? Then we'd complain about the site a little bit. Then a few more weeks would go by, and they'd check in again...any luck? Then we'd complain about the site a little bit.

Obviously, they were pussies. Make a move already!

Good or bad?

The fat bitch comment wasn't the greatest moment of my day. Considering the source though, it's probably a compliment to be called that by such a dumb loser.

Saywhut? Really? Lame.

Also, if that's the best he can do, you clearly are right in taking it as a compliment. The only time it's worth it to just stop at "bitch" is when you're referring to a nun (yeah...been there, done that, I had my reasons...good ones, I tell ya).

Honestly I think the men on here think all women on here are these succbi set out to claim there immortal soul. And though that might be true ;), well maybe we just want you to actually commit to an actual date before throwing yourself helplessly at our feet pledging this or that...blahblah. I actually met a cute CD I absolutely adore though she lives in another country with socialized healthcare and is quite happy there. We shall see. In the meantime a merely "curious" vanilla boy has struck my interest, my old subbie has been throwing himself shamelessly at me (debating on using the amenities at his place while seeking in the meantime and keep it friendly), and met a local subbie (unofficially via phonecall) who strikes my interest. But you know, I still feel quite single and unattached since I haven't spent time with anyone as of yet and sort of mellow yellow enjoying my time alone for now while weighing the options before me. I realize men are bipolar in decision making and honestly my time on this site and others has taught me the art of patience. Sometimes you have to just enjoy the journey before you reach your destination. I really tire of stagnant relationships also but I realize you gotta "kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince". :)
