needlesandpins -> tacky advertising on the otherside.....again (3/16/2013 1:57:47 AM)

ok so i know this is a free site, and we've had the talk of advertising before. i don't disagree with the site running adverts, but what i do disagree with is that under the site rules we are not allowed to have sexually explicite photos as our primary......however, we now have an advert from 'book of sex' that is just awful!

there right on my screen is a fully moving shot of some bird using a dildo on herself, and other pics of woman with gaping pussies. i'm a straight woman for god's sake. i really do not want to be seeing this, especially when i would not be able to have the same things in my profile as primaries. no that i would want to of course because i have more class than that. i'm sure alot of guys think it's just fantastic, but for me it's stomach churning.

do we really have to have this sort of thing? is cash what it takes to not have to apply to the same rules that the actual site users have to stick to?

it's tacky, and gross.

I haven't seen those, but my first reaction is...
It's a bit of an improvement over, "Lifes short,
Have an affair."

Someone has to pay for the site.

This time it's you.

uuummmmmm, that's what i was faced with when i refreshed the page to get rid of the porn i hadn't chosen to watch. there appears to be no moral standing for sure when it comes to cash.

No one told you about ad blockers?

Hence my use of Firefox with both an ad-blocker and a flash video blocker. But I do take Needles' point. One of my most grating irritations, pre Firefox, was seeing that ludicrous advert by some squalid dating agency that was made up of lots of fake profile-journal entries by 'women' who were so avid to have string-free sex with any number of men.

I never said she didnt have a point. But, to keep this site free, the powers that be have to generate income from somewhere. So, ad blocking is the next best thing [:D]
