ETA: Fortran on punch cards and BASIC using No.2 pencils on a card reader.  Once, a program on punch board.  Let's see.... remote job entry using tele-typewriter.  And .... oh, yeah.  Time-sharing from various terminals.... I MISS DECWriters.  Oh, but things come around don't they. Lean clients with clouds?  Might just be the modern equivalent of DECWriters with mainframes. NO?
