I'm pretty new to BDSM, which I've come to via tantric ideas - the focus on the physical and exploration of feelings within that has been very enriching and really opened up me up and serves me very well as a guide - there are many similarities from the two worlds even if it might not seem so at first, with both seeking to prioritise hmm I guess the word pleasure will have to do, whatever form that might take and the tools and techniques from both can be used freely with the other, so no need for some artifical distinction. I had a relationship with a sub, who has returned to her country :-(, as a dom, which was great, probably from a strict bdsm point of view I'd have seemed like a 'soft' dom, as my aim was really to develop, push, experience her journey, knowing her limits I was able to be creative and organise fun sessions, but I always found it quite draining. What I'm really looking for is to serve, to get the feeling of liberty and freedom of being submissive, of being taken over, when I think of this, its as if I can feel layers of weight are falling off me. I am very much a chameleon, who adapts and fits in to situations and people in RL without wanting to impose myself on them but always making sure that both gain from the experience - a two way street if you like - I can (take control/dominate), but I don't need to, if you see the difference. I would like to serve, I don't know what my limits are but I think I would get a great deal from it. Well, I don't know if that makes any sense, I just try to write what is on my mind at a particular point without trying to filter it to what I think someone might want to hear. And the focus of tantric thought on the physical, on doing, on not thinking, on getting the mind turned in on the body as a way to go beyond helps when I start to 'overthink', time to switch off the brain and go with the flow and feelings. So I think in summary - just skip all the text above - I would love to be taken under someone's wing and work hard on my development.
