I do have a question, the pro gun owner focuse on the ban yet ignore the that fact that two adults bought the weapons. Would you call them criminals? or law abiding citizens?

Strawbuyers pure and simple.

Fuck off if you don't think you own some of it. Sure you do.

By your logic, everyone who advocated for the freedom of blacks, and everyone who continues to support that view, has on their hands the suffering and blood of every woman raped and every person murdered by a free black since 1865.

How's that work for you? Shall we go with your route to a solution?

Well let's see. After all, you're being reasonable. You're not talking about all firearms, just "assault" rifles. So we wouldn't be talking about all blacks, just a small percentage of them. The most dangerous ones. How about males between 18-25?

Of course, you could argue that there's a difference between people and inanimate objects. But then you'd be making the very same argument as those gun-licking psychos with blood on their hands. Not good. Bad move. No cigar there.

Think it over. You're a reasonable guy. Maybe you can get behind it.

Well some brilliant legal mind in the local District Attorney's office decided they were not criminally accountable for the purchase of the weapons.

My use of the word "brilliant" is sarcastic of course.

The adults were sued in civil court.

Actually there were three, Robyn Anderson she two purchased the two shotguns and the carbine at the Tanner Gun Show in December 1998. She was never charged with any crime, her defense was she did not know what Harris and Klebold were going to do. Philip Duran purchased the TEC-9 pistol from Mark Manes. Mark Manes for his part got 6 years for selling the weapons, he could have gotten up to 18 years. Philip Duran, who had family attending the school at the time of the shooting, plead guilty to his charges and was sentenced to 4 ½ he was paroled after 3 ½ years. I was not able to find any information on civil lawsuits.

I don't see the post as racist.
The word "black' is being used as a descriptive term, not as a perjorative. Is "That tall black gentleman at the next table bought a house from me last week" a racist sentence?
There is also nothing in the post that indicates people of any ethnic persuasion are overall more likely to have any quality (good or bad) versus people of other ethnic persuasions.

The point could have been equally made without mentioning the colour of the rapist. You are entitled to your view as I am to mine.

If it's a particular person, how are you going to describe him or her otherwise?
"A person robbed me" won't give the cops much to go on.
Descriptive terms such as male, female, blonde, dark haired, blue eyes, brown eyes, short, tall, heavy, skinny, black, asian, white, long hair, short hair, bald, muscular are just descriptive terms when referring to an individual.
How many criminals do you think would be captured if a person was not allowed to describe an assailant?
Instead of putting mugshots or drawings on "Be on the lookout" posters, let's just go totally politically correct and put fucking smiley faces on all of them.

A nice lesson in how to miss the point.

Maybe I'm hitting the point exactly.
One totally asinine accusation "you have blood on your hands if you're a gun owner"
Deserves another.

So the obvious question is :
Are you comfortable living next door to someone stockpiling enough black powder to level his house, were it to go "boom" ?
If so,why ?
If not,why are you comfortable with him being legally allowed to ?

As far as I know there are no restrctions on how much gasoline you may purchase but there is a limit on how much you can store in your residence and the types of storage containers that are allowed. It would be reasonable to assume that storage protocols exist for explosive chemicals.

There are storage "magazines" that are supposed to be used for black powder as per ATF regulation (visit the site). This almost never happens though. Mind you you are allowed to keep black powder for use in recreational target shooting and making fireworks at your home, model rockets I believe falls under homemade fireworks. Not all states allow fireworks to be set off, oddly Arizona is one of them so remember this is federal regulation. New Jersey requires some kind of licensing or has some kind of restrictions on black powder ownership last I heard but I don't know for a fact.

It takes well more than a few hundred pounds of black powder to level a house from an explosion, oh it could set a house on fire but there wouldn't be a catastrophic explosion where walls and studs become flying debris if you only have a few hundred pounds of black powder, granted anyone inside would probably be dead. Windows would be blown out and maybe some items inside the home would be ejected. I keep about fourteen pounds inside a small safe, seven pounds of factory made, a little less than seven pounds homemade. I won't keep any more in my house than that on top of the ingredients to make it which is about twenty pounds which is considerably charcoal.

The reality is that the ATF or law enforcement is not walking from house to house checking on what people are doing. If you go on youtube you'll see people making TAPT which is completely illegal, also HMTD as well among a slew of others, the ATF is not hacking youtube and kicking in people's doors. So we can regulate it but it won't prevent it.
