Because the Brit humour (like how I spelt that keerictly, PfH?) which gets shipped here tends to be more cerebral and panders less to the lowest denominator than US humor...yes, even Benny Hill, although just barely.

Because it's funny. I admit, there's not a bunch of British exports I'm crazy about (since you quit sending us the steak pies in a tin. Aren't your cows all better by now? Damn Customs!), but British humour and humor is always great.

Tarted them up a bit and burned them onto DVD.

One of many Brit classics.
