I am meeting a potential partner who asked me to wear a chastity device. I'm not sure HOW to size them? If it matters, I just measured, and I'm 4 1/2 inches soft (measured from the ball sack to the tip). Most seem to be far too small (with the larger ones being listed as only 2 inches). So that's why I ask. How do you size a chastity device?

Personally, I wouldn't get a 6000. The construction is such that last time I got erect in one I nearly circumcised myself! I'd suggest something more open and without the little holes that can trap foreskin. The old 2000 was actually more comfortable, although if you're a big boy there isn't much room to erect. What about the Curve? That's supposed to be for biggies, although I haven't personally tried it. Look under chastity devices on ebay; the metal open work ones are good and not expensive. Usually less bulky that the plastic ones too; although they do set off the flashing lights at airpoirts......Ask them to give you the measurements for fitting. Don't be shy! They sell them for a living! Works for me; and, ahem; I'm not that small...........lol

So that's why I ask. How do you size a chastity device? Here is your problem. Two inches is not the length, it is the diameter of the ring. It works out to about six inches circumference (as in, if you measured around the girth with a tape measure) which is actually fairly generous. I'd be surprised if you were that big around when flaccid (it's ok, you don't need to tell me the measurement). I googled 'cb6000 sizing information' and turned up lots of discussions of people with experiences. You might also try searching 'male chastity faq' or 'which male chastity device'. I would think that you would want something that was just slightly bigger than your girth when flaccid. I've heard other people say you should get the biggest ring size which fits without falling off, and you can work your way to smaller and more snug ones once you are used to it. I think some types have changeable rings, but from what I've heard it's just a case of trial and error to find what suits your shape. most of the sizes for chastity cages shown online give the cage length and i think most except the mini sizes, are well over two inches. in addition to the cage there is a large ring that goes around the penis and ball sack that is an inch or so long. look at the measurment details more closely. a 4 1/2 inch flacid cock is a fairly normal length. you should have no problem fitting into the regular sized chastity cage. now a common trick to keep from getting hard and well as shrinking the penis is to use some ice on it as you are putting the shaft into the tube. keep in mind when you get an erection, it may get painful without room inside the cage, but that is the idea. after a few hours your body will not appreciate the pain and erections get less firm and easier to live with. good luck and let us know how it goes.

If your scrotum is tight (if your testicles don't have much "hang" to them) you will need the larger diameter. If your testicles hang low (swinging like 2 eggs in a long sock) then you will need the smaller diameter ring. Anyway, check the manufacturer's website...they often will have ways to contact them with your questions. These things must fit properly to be safe and serve their function. Too tight can cause bruising/constrict blood flow, too loose and you'll "escape"...and we can't have THAT! I do prefer the steel ones that someone mentioned. They are more hygienic and I worry that the plastic ones might fracture into shards on accidental impact (yikes). Also, another aspect of the steel ones is a sub can polish it to keep it shiny...and while he's doing that he's wishing he was polishing what's INSIDE the cage. *evil laughter

Measuring right now, I find that my soft circumference is a hair under five inches. Calculating that out, the soft diameter is 5/3.14=1.6 inches (well under 2 inches!) So, now that I know the 2 inches is diameter, I should be good to go!
