Wonderful news! I do hope the new residents do the right thing and invite Pastor Fred and all the family to the house-warming party. A nice neighbourly gesture would be to make fancy dress optional.

Before I clicked the link, I was scared it was going to be another wanna-be group from the Christian wrong ("neighbor" as in another crack-pot group) but, I have to admit that this was a master stroke in comedy as well as comeuppance. Peace and comfort, Michael

Good on them. It's on HuffPo (well, what isn't on HuffPo?) And looks poised to go viral. I imagine they've already had plenty of donations as a result. Maybe even covered the cost of buying the house? Shirley gave them a friendly wave...cuz she knows ranting at them would be bad PR. (Okay, I'll leave that in. But on second thought, WBC is fine with ranting. But they know the law and won't sue unless they've got a good shot.) But I imagine that, inside WBC, they're seethin mad. WBC will sue if they can. I hope the PP organizers make sure to do all they can...but to always stay inside the legal line.

I think rainbow house has good intentions and I like the paint job, but aren't they also giving the "church" a lot of free publicity?
