So, what would you say to the dominant woman who writes to you when curious about an "unsent" message?

That you were not sure about sending it in the first place?

That you discovered typos & had not corrected them yet so that you could actually send the message?

Hmmmm?

The first would show that the sender was indecisive. This is not a very good first impression.

The second may show that there really is not an interest since the sender was lax about making necessary corrections so that the message could be read.

Try all the tricks you want fellas... but if the woman has no interest or desire to reply or acknowledge your attempt to communicate, she won't.

&

If she finds out you tricked her into doing so... she's gonna be pissed! (just a little tip of my own)

I would be beyond pissed.
I would do a session with him... he will pay for the deception.

Well, this has happened to Me a couple of times, and I will admit I checked the profiles just because I was curious, but I do that with all received emails also.  All checking the profiles did for Me was verify that I would not have been interested anyway!
Now, dear boy, if we do start finding lots of unsent email in our boxes, best bend over and grab those ankles!  The Dominas will be lined up around the block to cause you untold pain and humilation. *W*

Hmmm, maybe I should hope this starts happening.  I guess I could put out an ad.

"Male subs neeed to send as many e-mails to Domme's that post on the BBS then unsend said message.  Sub with most unsent messages will when a prize."

As the Guinness ads say, "BRILLIANT!"  lol
unfortunately, now that you've blown the secret, ...

sounds alot like fishing...toss out the bait, then reel it in...might just get a "bite" out of it.

LOL

Personally, I think that deception such as this is a heinous crime. If a message needs to be unsent, an immediate, and apologetic message should be sent , with a brief description of the reason, as well as wether or not an edited version will be resent. To me this is common curtousey, that all members deserve. I will now climb down off of my soapbox and stop the pontification.

(fast reply)

Personally, I would rather have no reply at all then the false promises so many offer. Would I respond to an unsent message... most likely not. But then again, I'm not sure I would respond to any message right now.

LMAO~thank you for such a post TeeGo [sm=dance.gif]  Now not only will I not respond to "unsent" messages, I will block them as well for trying such a little trick.
Just kidding.  I just figure they chickened out, or were completley indecisive, which in turn actually makes me Not want to answer them when they finally do send an actual email a couple of months later.  So this doesn't actually work with all Dommes:)
Thanks for the post though, made me smile:)

Miss Stevie~

Accidently on two occassions I had sent something to a Domme, but later unsent it.  They found the mystery too much and had to contact me as to why.  One of these days I might try this on purpose to see how it works.

Nah, that just makes me think he's either a dolt with email, or he's chickenshit.

The same goes for folks that put people in favorites lists and leave them there, never contacting them.  If I put you on a favorites list, it's for me to look at later.  If I go back and you have some substance, I'll write.  If I go back and on second glance, don't see something I like, I delete them off the list.  Simple.  I've got an admired by list that I can't even see the end of....and yet, I've been contacted and had conversation with maybe 5 of them.

Hmmm, just had another one of those "unsent" messages tonight.  Hope he did not get the idea from this thread.  And no, I'm not messaging him to see what he wanted, LOL.
