I've posted about problems at work recently.

Things have changed dramatically in the weeks since.

My supervisor, in his infinite wisdom, has found a way to help me keep the job I love (he likes the way I perform my duties, too), while also provide me the opportunity to get away from those duties a few hours a week by giving me a few clients in the community.

Another program lost a peer specialist when that worker landed in the hospital; I was offered a few of his clients. I was also told that it might temporary because although they don't expect him to be coming back to work, they are looking at hiring somebody. My supervisor and the other worker's supervisor wants to see how it goes.

It is a dramatic shift in thinking. My new clients are older, wiser and want help. They are even aware that the simple act of going out and being with people doesn't mean they have "social skills".

At the youth lodge, it is like pulling teeth to get billing. Each client is supposed to meet with me up to 6 hours a week. Some weeks I'm lucky if I 1-2 hours with each guy. They are too busy playing video games, hanging out with friends, getting into trouble (which can lead to expulsion from the program). It has gotten to bad that the agency has begun to wonder if the program is viable.

I'm wondering if 6 hours a week is enough for some of my community people.

So far, I'm loving it. I've been trying to make my community appointments for around 1pm then going to the lodge after I'm done. And the guys there have been asking why I'm "late" to work. I'm telling them to make an appointment with me because I'm not going to around 8 hours/5 days a week any more. I had one kid ask for help to fill out a job application. Then he took off for the rest of the evening; the next day he stayed in bed my entire shift. From now on, if I get bored at the lodge, I'm going to call one of my community people: "hey, you want to do something".

That's great that things are working out for you.

Yes, I am crazy about feathered creatures. I have a dozen chickens, 3 ducks, 5 geese, and 2 parakeets.

Revise that number. Just got 14 new chicks and 5 turkeys.

Good luck to you

But just to clarify, when you get bored at the lodge you can go off to work with your guys in the community???

I am just wondering, cause I would assume, that you are somewhat sheduled when you will be working with which folks, sort of, that when you are working in the lodge that you are being counted on there and are not just able to work with your other clients instead...

But maybe I missunderstood your posting...

My work hours are 1pm to 9pm. I've been having a lot of down time at the lodge due to the guys not wanting to put in time with me. I meet with the people in the community during these same hours. The guys at the house are going to have to start making appointments with me because I won't be around 5 days a week/8 hours a day (I don't normally even leave for a lunch break). If I make an appointment with one of my community people for 7 pm, then the guys at the lodge are on their for the evening and responsible for getting their evening chores done because I will stop in before going home to check. And we do have monetary consequences for not doing housework.

LoL, so you're a total DOMME at work and a submissive outside of that.

I'm glad to hear it's going well for you my lady and know that there are many of us submissives just like you.

LOL

Haven't thought of it that way.

Maybe that's my problem, though. Maybe I'm not enough of a DOMME at work. Something to think about and to work on.
