TN lawmakers confuse mop sink for Muslim foot-washing sink

As Dave Barry would say, I am not making this up.

It's Tennessee politics, no need to make anything up.

Oh, sure, it's just a "mop sink." Likely story. But, it could be used by a terrorist!!!! to wash his feet before praying, couldn't it?

How long of a wait before some nut jumps in and claims gender discrimination because there isn't a mop sink in the women's restrooms, too?

At least they asked instead of assuming it was a squat toilet. I seriously would not be surprised if they tried using it as such.

I wonder what code inspector passed a plumbing fixture that close to an electrical panel.
It's apparently less than 5' and I don't see that whole panel being protected by a giant GFCI.

Maybe the picture wasn't taken to scale?

What is it with folks who equate Muslim with enemy?

It's not like 1 in 5 people isn't a Muslim.

There SHOULD be a place for them to wash their hands, face and feet. Tho I am far from certain it should be in a restroom.

Now, if the point was about shouting from minarets, I would be on the "shut the fuck up" bandwagon.
