Just curious, there are a few good dating sites out there. The majority may not cater to just alternative lifestyle. We were just wondering, other than collarme, what others you have used, or using at the moment, that are FREE and actually good or ok??

Besides CM, I'm on www.Fetlife.com and www.OKCupid.com. OKC is not specifically for kinksters but I've found, if I put certain buzzwords in my profile that other kinksters would know, I can get some good results now and then.

I've tried okcupid and match i think, but i've never had much luck with dating anyway. I'm not too excited about trying to explain to vanilla folks, though.

I tried OKCupid briefly, but my heart wasn't in it and I closed the profile down after a short time. My number one match that came up on there after I answered a whack of those questions they give you is a very vocal and visible poster on the CM forums, which made me feel a bit like I was spinning in circles!

The op is actually part of a couple looking for a unicorn. And that changes everything.

Single women don't usually want to be the third in the relationship. So no online dating site is going to be geared towards you.
Your best bet is for the two of you to go to munches together and make friends with single women. Ask them out on dates, both as a couple and one on one.

But expect it to take years to find the perfect someone that both of you will fall in love with.

If you just want another female body in the bed for the night, hire an escort.

When I was single: bondage.com, here, match.com, americansingles, plentyoffish.

Those are what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there were plenty of others that just don't come to my mind right now.

ETA: Oh, the sugardaddie comment reminded me of two more:

It's been mentioned several times, but I like OKCupid. There are about 3000 questions, and you can view them, or narrow them by - important to me, important to them, we disagree, ect, and it gives a percentage of match. I like it.

Around here, "unicorn" is slang for a cute, young bisexual submissive woman who is willing to move in with a couple.

POF and OK Cupid have found me friends and play partners, as has here and Fetlife

I have used PoF in the past with great success and it's completely free.

I have also used AFF (AdultFriendFinder.com and various other portals like Passion.com) to find many play partners.
Although it's a pay site, you can use the IMC to chat with people and there are many group chatrooms for free.

I didn't like OKC at all and I can't get Fet to work here so can't comment on those.

Over the years, I have used them all (including pay sites) except eHarmony. eHarmony rejected me . . . they said they would be unable to find a match and refused to take my money or issue a membership.

I have met lovers and found a few LTR partners (years not months) on several sites including my current partner whom I met on CollarMe. Bondage.com, Alt.com and even AOL.com was cool back when dinosaurs roamed, they had a Le Chateau chatroom and I ran the lechateau.com web site. But not anymore.

To be honest, you may hear about several upstart BDSM sites but they just don't have the traffic CollarMe & FetLife do. Might be run by the best people and software but there won't be a membership base. CollarMe gets 200,000 unique new vistors every month. 1 in every 5,000 North American internet users visit collarme.com daily. 1 in every 22,155 global internet users visit collarme.com daily. FetLife's stats are even a bit higher.
