Wow, nothing like using ridiculously outdated reference materials to make a point. The most recent of the "sources" listed was the DSM-IV from 1994. There were a number of sources published in the 1980s and some as far back as the 1970s.

So let's accept that the statistics are true (for argument's sake). They couldn't have changed in 20-30 years? 20-30 years of increasing openness about and acceptance of homosexuality? [8|]

And some of those "facts" (homosexuality having love between men and boys at its root, for one) are...utterly incomprehensible. And that's being kind.

Charming stuff, overflowing with Christian compassion. I was particularly taken by the reference to the numbers of gays succumbing to "accidental killings" during BDSM play sessions. [:D]

Okay that whole thing made me laugh. I think the best part was:

"Many homosexual sexual encounters occur while drunk, high on drugs, or in an orgy setting"

I think that the word they were looking for was "college" or "early twenties," instead of homosexual. Or maybe just take "homosexual" out completely.

Of course, on a serious note, that stat actually makes sense. What is a homosexual encounter? Kissing, fondling, and so-forth would all count. Alcohol, drugs, or an orgy setting (and how come I am NEVER invited to these things?) would lower inhibitions for "trying it out" (for lack of a better term.)
