Hello all fellow Kinks looking to meet submissive
in her 40's with experience who wants be in LTR.
New to the life style, so I started by looking for sites to meet people
who can help me as Dom/Novice with advice on finding submissive to play with
and gain knowledge as Dom, also searching for groups or classes in new york city.
I've discovered CM and other boards and have been reading lots of profiles
but it hard to meet submissive (s) when they only want experience dom's
and I understand and respect there views.

Here is my question to the board,I have disability which only affect
my walking long distances so I use wheelchair for reason alone
and to stay fit I play all types wheelchair sports.

MY second question how much hard will be to meet a submissive?
and do any of you know of any other kinks in the community who have disability
that have group as well?.

I want to connect with a person who will explore everything we like
together, chemistry is really the key for me

Any help from sub to dom would be meet with heart felt
thank you.
Carlos

I'll be honest, your lack of experience will have more of an effect on finding a submissive than your disability.

You're kind of putting the cart before the horse. You have no experience, so before you start looking for a submissive I would suggest getting out to your local community and finding yourself a mentor.

Welcome to the forums!

It is a common complaint of new doms...subs want experienced masters-1). Those who have experience are less likely to flake out on you & suddenly lose interest 2) safety... You should try to get involved in your local groups. Many host instructional lectures and have SiG (special interest groups)

OsideGirl & TieMeInKnottss the advice about " putting the cart before the horse" is one way to look at it ... totally agree with you both but I did say "I understand and respect there views"

So am I wasting my time on here?.

I'm hoping this not the case because the goal was to make friends and get information from others who are part of the community .
How dose one find a mentor on here?
SiG how do you find these groups online?
Just point my feet in right direction .
thank you and please

Fedlife is ok but there groups are about selling events and some NYC events are not really single dom friendly.

I would spend money but some of posts I read say that you could go too many events and not meet any one or that people try to get money from you.
This all new to me and I spend my time reading and learn what thing mean and how I should conduct myself but this is all part of the process when want learn something new
this post was to Introduce my self and hope if have any other question I can get your views on it again in the future ?.

I would never dream of asking someone who I Just meet do some of the activities I seen done online with out some training.
I was asking if there was a safe place where I could meet a sub or mentor and see if I would likely to flake out as you put it .

That like someone who able-body asking me to let them try my sports wheelchair in a contact game....you are going get hurt period.

So I understand .
thank again
Carlos

Hello and welcome to Collarme and the forums. I do not think anyone would think it a waste of time for someone looking for advice and that is willing to learn. Both OsideGirl & TieMeInKnottss gave some good advice as will others if your willing to listen to what they have to offer. Best wishes in finding that in which you are seeking.

Then you're not looking at the right events.

NYC has a thriving D/s BDSM community. There are tons of munches and discussion groups that are free along with demonstrations and lectures for a nominal fee. All of which would be single Dom friendly.

A lot of what we do can cause permanent harm if done incorrectly. There may be some submissives that are willing to put their well being into the hands of someone without experience, but that number will be low.
