I met a previous sub here, as well as a young woman who's kinda like my daughter. I've met some folks strictly as friends, including UllrsIshtar. To be honest, it's not that good as a meetup site because the Internet itself isn't as effective as meeting in person at an event or munch.
That said, I can spot a fake profile or someone incompatible in seconds, so my wasted time is almost nil.
