If they really wanted to save her, they would've placed her in another home. How long will it be until her father sells her to another pedophile? His children should be taken from him and he should be sterilized so he can't have more.

horrible story but was the father kinda forced in tha choice of giving his daughter to a paedo or maybe letting some of his family die?

Yet another world issue you don't understand.

Their culture is very different than ours, and daughters are often sold into marriage. Obviously it is not something that would be approved of here in the States, but in their country it is not uncommon. It isn't a matter of them being pedophiles, but it's certainly logical you can't tell the difference.

WantsOfTheFlesh I think it's different even if the resoults don't change, the father didn't sold the girl for money but when asked to pay a debt he got into to pay medical care for some of his family members, the loaner proposed a deal like: "I have a son who needs a wife and you have a doughter, they merry we are relatives the debt is gone" the father was no cool with this but the tribe elders convinced it was his best call.
defiantbadgirl I think there is just no other home to place her.

And you are surprised by this why?

This is a culture whose chief prophet was betrothed to a 6 year old to be consummated between 9-11.

yeah the father only sold tha daughter to pay back medical costs. agreed that isnt as bad as just selling tha daughter for financial gain but i dunno how unhappy he was to sell her.

yes he was not unhappy for the idea of a marriage at age of 6, he has probably not a clue why this is wrong, his concern where about how the groom would have behaved as husband, in his mind he probably considered the marriage proposal a win-win situation as the debt was no more a concern and his doughter would have someone to provide for her.
What I wanted to say is that if they wanted to save her it's not giving her to another family where they would not care a fuck of her, but taking her away from a culture where a woman only purpose in life is be a fuckhole and a slave for her husband.
