Periodically there are threads for people to describe their new toys or new favorites. I looked to see how recent the last one was and was surprised to see it was last Aug/Sept and figure it might be time to start a new one.

Yesterday, my Master used a toy on me He had mentioned in passing about a month ago: an evil stick.

First He tickled me with it, and I laughed and He warned me that it would not tickle for long.
He was right.

It felt like a cross between a bee sting and a static electric shock at first.
And my end of the dialogue went like this: "Ow!", "Ouch!", "Damn!" and "Fuck!!"

After He applied it rather thoroughly up and down my body, I began to laugh and just could not stop.
He said it seemed like I like it and I said I didn't know... and began laughing harder.
I added that I think my brain did but I was not so sure if my body did.
He then used it just a little bit harder... and there were a lot more "Fuck!"s this time.
And again I began to laugh.

Not new, and not one of my favorites. But a sewing tracer wheel. I have no idea how it works for people who sew, but here it's saved until I'm firmly restrained and can't kick or do much more than twitch. He finds my reactions cute. I'm just glad one of us is enjoying it.

I love evil sticks, canes, electrical toys and too many other things to list.

Your laughing reaction isn't all that uncommon. I've known several people whose reaction to pain is laughter. And the more it hurt, the more they'd laugh.

I'm a growler myself.

Similar to an evil stick, bt not quite as evil,my favorite switch is the plastic rods that the utility company uses to put up marker flags. Has to be the plastic ones, the metal ones rust. If I see plastic ones, I will pull over to steal them out of the ground. On bare ski, they can draw blood. I really like them.

One of my favorite canes is the rods used to open and shut venitian blinds. You can buy these at the DIY store. There is also always one avialabl in just about any hotel room.

I have a couple of toys that I'm so in love with right now: One is a 4' purple and black single tail that I picked up last summer, and have been slowly breaking it in with treatment and use. The second are a pair of acrylic canes that a couple near and dear to my heart that make that I picked up last Fall. They are clear with no handles (just stick, just as I prefer my natural canes to be). I love the way they feel when I'm doing my rhythmic-caning play.

Yes, there is but that tends to be more about a specific toy or what somebody is looking to buy. The "new favorite toy" or new type of play do fit under General.

Considering half of the board is full of "moved" threads, it's nice to see somebody who knows where to put their post.

On the topic, I honestly haven't bought anything new for a while that would classify as a toy. All of the new additions have been chains and dungeon furniture. Chains are ridiculously versatile when wanting to create play stations for a variety of uses and/or different heights and body types.

As for another note, the evil stick is an awesome toy. I generally call the long one 'the ugly stick' that I've mentioned in various posts. I also have the smaller version that has the purple heart on the end and MP has the two prong number. For the electricity enthusiasts in the house, they do conduct electricity when using the violent wand.

I'm not as mobile as usual so we're in an artsy-fartsy phase using mostly wax, Sharpies (actual Sharpies, not knives and needles sharpies), ketchup (don't ask) and other benign things that don't make me react too much and damage myself further.

No stingy's or thumpy's for me at the moment. :(

On the plus side, I have a case of shingles that feels very much like my skin just had aggressive abrasion play performed on it.. so that's kinda cool and since I know this isn't going to last forever, I'm enjoying it while I have it and shall remember it fondly when it's gone.

OH I gots one of those, much fun, drives pet crazy and as he just got a violet wand, , heheheh*chuckling evilly* its getting more use than before.
I havent gotton anything new for a while but since he got the wand, we have been playing with that a LOT
Havent been able to do much impact play cos my shoulder is screwed in one arm and the other hand is pretty useless cos of the nerve damage, gettin old sucks, im thinking of playing a new game, where I swing a paddle or flogger and he has to run in the direction it flies out of my hand and get in front of it before it gets there.

It's a toss up between my dragon tail flogger (I love the popping noise) and the padded, upholstered swings that hang on chains...

I chose chains that are perfect for attaching D-rings to so I can attach bo's wrists and ankles any which way I want, and then put more chains or rope around his abdomen and thighs, etc. I love being able to "rock his world" by grabbing one of the four chains it hangs from and jerking it, mwahahaha, especially when he is blindfolded.

The latest thing we bought for our play is chain. Several lengths of thick, heavy chain with large carbiners to couple the chain and make quick release a literal snap.

I agree with LP, it's very versatile. Plus thick, heavy chain has both physical and emotional gravitas that no other binding holds (pun intended).

Well, right now, I WANT AN EVIL STICK, lol. Before this, it was actually just a tickler. My last boy got too afraid of toys for anything close to a certain orifice. I don't consider myself a sadist, but I'm going to buy an evil stick now.

I think the Evil Stick is the thing I hate to love.

Damn it stings.

You must go through a ton of towels. Or do you buy red ones so they won't show stains after washing (twice. First in cold to remove blood. Then in hot to get clean).
