FR People who don't find it funny aren't seeing it as a joke. *obvious statement of the day!* They're seeing it as you taking something massively important to them, their eternal salvation through a willing, perfect, sacrificial Christ, and making a mockery of it. The death and resurrection of Jesus is really, REALLY precious to some people and has deep emotional and spiritual significance for them. You compare what it is to them, eternal salvation by their God made into humble flesh, to a kink/sex party. You say yourself that you don't practice anything, so you likely don't understand the magnitude Easter carries with everyone. It's funny and lighthearted for some, and while I don't believe you meant to be offensive or tried to attack anyone, I can completely understand how others were offended. I personally find it distasteful, but I'm not a fan of religious jokes in general because they can genuinely hurt others by degrading something they live their life by. God (& Christians) can take a joke, but like any other humor, just because it's funny to person A doesn't mean it won't be insulting to person B, and a certain amount of flack is to be expected with jokes like this. At least now you know where to NOT post similar jokes :P
