Status: offline 		Ok.. not that I don't mind everyones debates on certain topics... but damn people!...lol

So I figured it is time for a different topic... even if it's a repeat. SO ....... let's try this.

I was talking to one of my doms this morning about things that transpired in our meeting that led us to know... we were compatible in the D/s dynamics we now share together.

We all pretty much look for do and don'ts. Likes and Dislikes... when meeting...and deciding if things "might" go as we like. IF there is a deciding factor of "Yep i'm sure this will do".... what are yours. Either if it's yep this decides NO... or yep.. this decides YES.

With each one of my doms now... my deciding factor was the way they seem to make me want to give my all to them... without demmanding it with words. After talking with one via internet and phone... the meeting was such a rush... I knew from the moment I was standing before him... I was going to want to give my all to him.

As for the two I met off line... here locally... it was just simply the power they had with in themselves to make me melt for them. From the way they spoke.. or interacted with others... let alone myself.

So I'm interested in what others deciding factors "MAY" of been.... when deciding to go ahead and give said realtionships a try....

Let's have some fun with this one.....lol

Status: offline 		The "inspire" thing is a common theme, which makes sense because a lot of subs are people pleasers and it's awesome to finally meet someone who will not only recognize your attempts to please them, but actually encourage the behavior.

But for me, the factor is whether I think they will challenge ME as their slave.  Whether they will really want to grow with me, and have a life perspective that their relationship is something that they want to evolve over time in a great adventure together.

Status: offline 		For me it's the way they interact with me, the way they look at me, speak to me, how they tap into my mind. Another thing was to know it was me they were interested in not just one of those "Any girl will do situations" interested in me for who I am, the potential they see in me, and how far they think we can go together in the future... Those are just a few things, but I have always listened first and foremost to my heart and it Mostly has kept me on the right track.

Status: offline 		I can understand that LA... because i'm a challenging person. I don't mean as in terms of brat.. or problem child... ( not knocking others kink here)...I just like the challenge period. If they have the "power" to make me want to submit like I do.. that in itself is a challenge.

(Oh LA before I forget.. the other thread was locked down.. but wanted to say thanks for your comment ... yep... learned more from you than I thought... thanks again... lol)

Status: offline 		For me it was just chemistry from the start.  I didn't now anything about him as a person in our first few conversations, but he challenged my way of thinking in our very first conversation.  And the way he challenged me is what did it.  "Inspire" is a great word for it, because after our conversation I found myself thinking about him, and what he said, and the next thing I knew I was looking into myself to see if he had a point. 

I have met very few who have been able to tell me point blank what they think (regarding me - why I may think, act, feel as I do about certain things), with candid honesty, where I don't  initially feel defensive, rather I look right at what they are saying to see if there is validity to it.  Master did so in such a way, I was eager for the next conversation, to learn more.

Prior to any pictures being exchangaed, prior to even a phone call, I was intrigued and affected.  Not only did he challenge my thinking, but I felt comfortable in expressing myself right back (that was also rare in those days). 

The more we spoke the more captivated I became, and things such as what he did for a living, what his habits and hobbies were, etc., did not matter to me.  What mattered was the connection we were making, and the power I felt from him from the very start.  The way he spoke to the core of me, and the submission I immediately felt for him.  And it's funny now, because as I learn some of his idiosyncrasies - particularly those that would annoy the hell out of me from anyone else - I laugh and think they are just so....HIM.   It's not uncommon for us to be relaxing and for him to look at me and see me shaking my head and laughing at him as he's doing something totally gross or annoying.

What can I say, I am hopeless for him!

a sub/slave jumping up to tell me what to do, one on one, and then when I say something about it their come back is " well you like it, you're a switch".... that does it right there... period. I can not stand people that presume to think that they will order me to do anything, period.
 
I am a switch but I am not "their" switch.... <end rant lol>
 
Deal makers - someone that can get me to laugh, get me to think, has a quick wit, and that can offer me a challenge physically, emotionally, and mentally ....

Status: offline 		Chemistry.  Either its there, or it's not.  And I found out pretty fast that if it's not, trying to force it is one of the worst ideas in the world.

But chemistry isn't an absolute quality.  It usually goes both ways, but not always.  And it pays to remember that if it doesn't, it's not an insult or a personal slam.
