1,000 Plus Armed Protestors Rally In Michigan
April 6, 2013 by Bobby Powell

Close to one thousand heavily armed demonstrators, some in wheelchairs and some in strollers, descended upon the Michigan State Capitol building in Lansing on Wednesday March 20th to draw a line in the sand, telling the Federal government in no uncertain terms that they would oppose any attempts to register or ban any type of currently legal firearm or accessory.

wow!

Maybe they have the same people counting their crowds that counted at the Million Man March and Glen Beck's rally.

they were spread out and do not appear to be that many when they are not packed into a crowd.

I was surprized that a tax rally I went to they officially counted over 4000 people when it appeared to me to only be about 1000 or so.

Hows that for gun control eh!

Armed Pro-Gun Protesters Occupy Oregon State Capitol

By Ian Millhiser on Feb 11, 2013 at 10:30 am

A few hundred pro-gun demonstrators rallied outside the Oregon state Capitol on Friday to protest efforts to enact gun safety laws. A handful of protesters also entered the Capitol building itself and brandished assault rifles and other guns in the Capitol rotunda:

this one os only a hundred or so.

Well for people to start protesting bearing their assault weapons in public that seems to me like they are trying to send legislators, I expect mainly obama a message

here is more!

Armed protesters show up to counter Indianapolis gun control rally

Topics: indiana statehouse

A group participating in the “National Day to Demand Action” to end gun violence in Indianapolis this morning faced a counter-protest from gun rights advocates, who brought their loaded firearms with them.

The group Moms Demand Action held the rally outside the Indiana Statehouse on Thursday to call for an assault weapons ban, restrictions on magazine sizes, and an end to the so-called gun show loophole. A member of the organization told Think Progress she was unsettled by the presence of armed counter-protesters, who were from a group calling itself Indiana Moms Against Gun Control.

The National Day to Demand Action was organized by the group Mayors Against Illegal Guns. The event coincided with the release of a television ad featuring family members of those killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School last year.

Here we go!

Gunning for no change: Thousands of armed protestors gather at state capitols in pro-assault rifle rallies across the country

'Guns Across America' rallies held days after President Barack Obama unveiled a sweeping package of gun-control proposals

Mass turnout includes thousands in New York and hundreds in Connecticut, New Hampshire and Texas

Minnesota state Rep. Tony Cornish said he would push to allow 21-year-olds to carry guns on college campus

Thousands of gun advocates gathered peacefully Saturday at state capitals around the U.S. to rally against stricter limits on firearms, with demonstrators carrying rifles and pistols in some places while those elsewhere settled for waving hand-scrawled signs or screaming themselves hoarse.

The size of crowds at each location varied - from dozens of people in South Dakota to 2,000 in New York. Large crowds also turned out in Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington state.

Some demonstrators in Olympia, Wash., Phoenix, Salem, Ore., and Salt Lake City came with holstered handguns or rifles on their backs. At the Kentucky Capitol in Frankfort, attendees gave a special round of applause for 'the ladies that are packin'.

Listen to what a canadian has to say about this!

I agree with the Americans. In Canada anti-gun radicals got into government and passed some pretty sinister gun confiscation laws. Police are kicking down the doors of innocent people in the middle of the night, dragging them out of bed and beating them on their front lawns, then confiscating their guns on the most nebulous of information. That's in CANADA folks, with British parliamentary government - the system that pretends to be a democracy but is really majority totalitarianism for each term. No country is free without it's firearms, just look at the UK.

I can see a few people on this board running for the rest rooms to clean their pants out! LOL

Wisconsin sheriff urges residents to arm themselves

A sheriff who released a radio ad urging Milwaukee-area residents to learn to handle firearms so they can defend themselves while waiting for police said Friday that law enforcement cutbacks have changed the way police can respond to crime.

In the 30-second commercial, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr. says personal safety is no longer a spectator sport.

"I need you in the game," he says.

"With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option," he adds. "You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back. ... Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there."

well I think there is a message here.

that there is aline in the sand.

that government is sitting on a powder keg with people now holding a lit match.

These situations are like icebergs. you only see the tip, the rest cant be seen due to the reflection.

Yes, there is a message here: that criminals and nutcase wackos having free and unobstructed access to weapons capable of killing hundreds of people at a time is the ultimate definition of 'liberty for all.'

Here is another message: if these wackos succeed in allowing guns into the classroom, I will walk out of the first class where I see one of those things and sue the bejezuss out of that university. I'm very sure that I wouldn't be alone there, and quite sure that a few gun owners would be in that group.

I have a much better idea of what lies beneath that iceberg than you, count on it.

Sheriff David Clarke is an African American that runs for sheriff as a democrat. He is instead a true conservative. Liberals in Milwaukee, especially the liberal press hate him and become unhinged when he says things like this. They can't seem to figure out how he always gets reelected with nearly 2 thirds of the vote in a city run by democrats.
