There is kind a generic quality to it, so I could see why she wasn't all that impressed. There are a million ways to answer a question like that. For instance, you could tell a short anecdote or story about something you did that shows your intelligence, creativity etc. -- that's much more powerful than simply listing a bunch of fairly common adjectives.

I think people are making a mistake taking the wording at face value, and feeling they have to address the question by the narrow parameters of that wording. You could interpret that question in a million ways: Why should I be interested in you? What is your style of dominating? You can say a lot about yourself simply by how you choose to interpret the question. And you can answer the question you want to answer, not the premise she is providing.

Who knows what her magic answer was. I do think if she wrote you off because you answered the question "wrong", then she perhaps missed an opportunity by being too quick to judge

There is simply an answer that eloquently conveys who you are as a person. But that answer won't work for everyone, because none of us is compatible with everyone. The issue I had with the OP's answer (no offense to him) was it was a little trite. The sentiment was fine, but there was nothing distinctive about the words that gave me a sense of who he was distinct from the billion other people who would have expressed a similar sentiment when asked the same question. I could see why someone would have been frustrated by the response - it seemed like it was out of "Being a Good Dom 101." Even if he believed the sentiments whole-heartedly, he needs to find a better, and more personalized way to express them.

Hmm, my first thought is that a worthy master is one who can actually control me with and without the use of chains, ropes or constraints. Who owns a person completely from knowing them inside and out and knowing how to speak so they will react the right way and give them the right things to make them obey the proper way. Most importantly they are honestly controlling. They make the slave know what they are doing the whole time. He reaches deep inside his slave and can use them entirely, their body and actions and mind. Like a dog that is trained to obey tricks and only accept food from one master or a doll that is crafted by hand from resin, the slave is the masters creation. But a master who is WORTHY of me would know how unique I am and what expertise I had. They would congratulate me for my hard work however they saw fit ( Love Language ) and reward me, show me I am appreciated so I do not despair. Controlling me and my actions would be secondary to the mutual attraction and appreciation for each other. I am too affectionate and like to spoil my master too much to blindly following orders or being a ragdoll. I am active and want to create new ways to please my master and take care of his problems and needs. As my master, he is responsible for my well being but my concerns are secondary. In his discipline and practice my drama and meaningless problems will fade away because my integrity lies in my relationship with my master. I want to find a worthy master very much. I am looking very hard and screening many people. Some people think I am just reaching out for anyone, but I am saying no to lots of suitors. Even still, I have been active with about five doms and have not named any one of them my master or let them claim me. Part of me wants to be claimed by force. To be told I belong to them now, and not just say it but act on it. Arrive at my place, give me commands, invites me over, spoils me, arouses me to sexually please him when he does or does not command it. A worthy master knows that his slave is invaluable, and treats them as such.

Hmm, a lot of good answers. I'm afraid that would have to agree with MizzSpitfire in that a Master is not a Master until they have a slave. Beyond that though, several key attributes do come to my mind: Honor, Integrity, Honesty, Self Discipline, Empathy, Strength (of Mind), A Desire to Lead (obviously), Humility, Personally it does sound like you're better off, she sounds like she may have had a screw loose up stairs. This is the main reason I don't have a slave (or a sub) at the moment. It feels like most of the so called subs I come across are a little squirrely, not really knowing what they want and changing their minds constantly. I have pretty much all but given up.
