I used the code for this image in my signature (see signature below) but it doesn't work. Oddly , it works in this post, as you can see:

Ideally, I would have liked to make the picture a clickable link to my site but it's beyond me.It's too big anyway, I'll make a smaller one. What stupid mistake am I making?

The image tag is blocked in the signatures as far as I know.

This is what Mod 3 had to say in another thread about images:

Images in posts are really not allowed, yes there are some on the boards, and yes we do remove some of them. Please do not make the job of the Mods any harder than it already is. Also, as you may have noticed, those pictures only stay up for so long, then there is a thread with an ugly box or red x in it, cluttering up the forums.

I know...i finally learned how to insert pics and as soon as i did, i find out we aren't suppose to.....
