Failure to launch, Kirata, it definitely is from North Korea.

Yeah, they need miniskirts though, that pantsuit is just tacky.

As that pervert Adolf learnt, one of the great things about being a dictator is, you can make your fetishes happen on a scale that would make Hefner jealous.

Groovy, baby! Hey, if I ever become a megalomaniacal dictator, you betcha I'm-a-gonna make my female commandos wear platform boots. And I like how her hat just sorta floats on top of her hair, too.

Ummmmmm.........She's not North Korean, she's Chinese. My guess is that she's a member of the PLAM (People's Liberation Army Militia) given the lack of rank insignia on her collar, her shoes, and her hair style.

The dead give away for her being Chinese is the red star on her head gear. North Koreans wear an emblem that includes a gold wreath and gold swag beneath it with a small red star in the center of the wreath.

Another entertaining observation is that her hair style is definitely not North Korean. All North Korean women are required by law to wear one of the 28 government approved hairstyles. Pony tails of that length and bangs of that length are not approved by the North Korean government.

The image I posted is a snip from a Reuters photo of female DPRK soldiers taken April 11 in North Korea.

So you trust Reuters to get it right? How many of their stories have you compared to their photos. I've been involved in situations where they posted a story about what we were doing and used a stock photo of a Marine. (I was Army.)

On a side note, your second photo is DPRK (North Korean) head gear. It's also a different hairstyle, Google the approved hairstyles if you don't believe me.

It's a Reuters photo, not a Reuters story. With some searching I found it among the current "Photos of the Week" with the following caption and credit:

I do not think that the hairstyles are required, just encouraged.

I will say that their uniforms are much better for the wimmins than our military.

The bottom photo is what every other source I can find says the DPRK army unifrom looks like.

The red star and no other insignia is not PLAM either so it is possible it is some North Korean force but these recent potos are the only ones I can find with that uniform style.

The hat she is wearing is a more classic soviet style which would be more likely seen in North Korea than China.

The shoes are almost certainly to achieve more height. The culture highly values height and even more in North Korea. Even Kim Jong Ill used to wear shoes with a heel sometimes to appear taller.
