I love that link. Women are very hard on themselves; their worst critics. I am sure men are as well, but I don't hear it from them as much. It is very telling that the women describing themselves as much less attractive than others perceive them. Of course, you can have the opposite effect, of someone who overestimates their looks, but that is preferable to self-deprecation. I know I am very critical of myself and on my worst days, people always seem to tell me how great I look, even without makeup!!
