I know how you feel. I'm the "it will be ok" type, too. It's usually a bad call.

Please go to the doc. If it really is just going to be ok, you didn't waste anything but an office visit. If there's a problem, it can be detected and you'll save yourself problems in the future.

I have to say that I agree with those who said the friends may need to have a little more integrity when they are giving you advice.

today i went in for the exam and gave them the details. Right now my elbow has fluid which is causing my numbness. They can't tell if it has any cracks because of the fluid is obscuring it at this time. But they didn't think it was broken. I got some ibuprofen for the headache and they gave me a sling to relieve the pressure.
And my car damage ended up to be about 900 dollars.

I was on the other end of the situation once. I caused the one and only accident I've ever been in. It was way back in 1986, when I was pregnant with my daughter. The woman who side swiped my car (she hit me but it was still my fault) sued me for $1 million. I turned it over to my insurance company and never heard about it. At the time I was told, "yeah, we'll settle with her". They settled out of court for a lesser amount but I never found out the amount, I didn't really care how much she got. The amount didn't affect me. That's what I pay insurance for. And I figured her attorney took her for a sweet ride by the time he was done anyway.

And you'd better believe if I'm involved in another accident in which I'm not at fault, I'd want to be made whole. Car, health, time out of work, and pain and suffering.

I'm really, really glad you went to the doctors. And I hope once the fluid subsides, they'll find there is NO crackage in your elbow. You have paid your insurance premium for a service, and now you are utilizing that service. This is all good.

Wishing you continued "feel better" thoughts.
