Wonder what to expect, and excited and a tad apprehensive being an alpha male all my life. I think she will be the one the make the nec changes in my life. Would love to hear from any former Dom's that have converted willingly to become a slave to a beautiful woman! I can say, I bought my first cage, and first bouquet of flowers for her, she is amazing and am in love with Mzspanks.. bella

Well, I have not actually done so but I've said many a time that I would in a heart beat if, for some reason, me being the slave and Carol being the boss was suddenly the path of happiness in our marriage. Well I respect your willingness to try. I don't really believe that those who are dominant by nature can truly be slaves. Can you put yourself into the role? Yes. Can you do what your told? Yes...but I don't think someone who, by nature, believes what he or she does or thinks is the best course of action, someone who walks into a chaotic room and starts to put order to it could be happy being told that NO you cannot worry about me, no you don't help me unless I tell you to... I think you will discover either you were never a GOOD Dom because you were really a slave or realize that you are somewhere in the middle but not a dominant personality.

They are both hiding... but I have seen mzspanks before. Not long ago, she was complaining in journals about the submissives around here and well, in my opinion, compromising herself as a dom... wouldn't be surprising if her alter-ego did too. This whole thread is a lead into.. something. Just search mzspanks and see what comes up and read the first profile. [;)] PS... none of the pictures have the real mzspanks. [:D] She is more my age and um... I am smaller than her.

I had been a Dom untill my in my 50's . I had many women who liked being humilliated , whiped , spanked, and shared with my friends . All this time I was imagining how it would be if I was the one being on the recieving end of the whip. I had fantasized being sexually abuse and mistreated as a slave since I was 12 years old. When I met a real Dom in 2003 I immediatley knew my place was at her feet . She knew it too. My friends were a tad embarrased to mention the change ,and I pretended to be the same when out with the boys ,but fooled no one .We were together unti 2008 Now Im alone but have started looking for a Dominante Lady . How my world has changed , I could still be a switch I guess , but at my age I just want a Dom who I can love and obey and submit to .

It sounds like gay men who marry a woman for 20 years, have children and only just realise or date to leave their wife and be gay. I am certainly not attracted to dominant men who have never been dominant before or used to be submissive. I suppose that is in part because I have never not been submissive. Even as a child this is how I was and in all relationships always so I prefer a man who is the same. Also I fear those who suddenly change may not really have changed and just want a bit of kinky sex so a D/s relationship with them is not likely to last. IN other words if a man suddenly changed to dom he would need a heap of convincing to make me believe he had altered and lived a lie for all the years before. However you can usually feel it if someone is dom so I suppose the past may not matter as long as the future will be as both parties need it.

We all have the right to change our minds. If you wish to be a sub...then look for a Domme. I would think less of someone who took the chance of hurting someone else by being deceptive of who they were and what they truly wanted.. Lyleboy...sounds like you had a good experience &, in all earnestness, wish to re-capture that.. It is normal human behavior. Good luck

OP, Most of the responses that I've read haven't been particularly helpful, so I'll give it a try. I actually started out my BDSM journey as a Dom. Most people don't know that. The reason that I was a Dom is that I have a naturally dominant personality. I am always in charge in the vanilla world, and people naturally defer to me. So when I discovered BDSM, everyone assumed (and I did as well) that I was a Dom. But eventually I met a dominant woman, and I discovered that I enjoyed submitting to her. In fact, I enjoyed it far more than I enjoyed dominating. Dominating often felt like I was play acting, whereas submitting made me feel aroused in ways that I had never felt before. It felt WONDERFUL. It felt real. It felt comfortable. So I changed. The point is that everyone is entitled to change their mind. This is particularly true when you're exposed to something that you've never experienced before. Does that mean that I was faking being a Dom? No. As I mentioned, I have a naturally dominant personality. But I learned that personality, or professional roles, don't naturally correlate with D/s roles. there are plenty of people who are demanding, or assertive, or bosses at work, who also relate more to the "s" side of the kneel. So don't worry about what others say. They don't have to live your life, you do. So just do you. And if that means changing what you've always done, then go ahead and do that.
