It would be quite unfortunate if everyone wanted to be dominated.
That would mean there was no one around to be dominant and to dominate those of us who are submissive.
Having stated the obvious, I will add that most of us are not "cowering subs".
And yes, sometimes, fantasies are fantasies and do not need to be fulfilled.
Reality is separate from fantasy for a reason.
Generally speaking, it is much easier to get one's needs met if one is honest about what those needs are.
That seems to be something you struggle with, OP.
Perhaps a kink-aware therapist could help you sort that out.
