I have done a few quick searches, and browsed a few of the topics and not found what I am looking for. As stated in my profile, I'm new to the life, and looking for some simple guidance on where to start. I will say I am not looking for someone willing to take on a fresh sub, I know that is highly unlikely, and I know that I should become active in the local community. This is the step I am looking for help with. I am not sure how / where I should do this. I looked at the upcoming events, doing a search for Illinois and chicago and did not find anything current.
