Lucylastic -> RE: IRS apologizes for targeting conservative groups (5/11/2013 7:57:45 PM)

of course...in much the same way, screaming that george soros owned Obama by donating ten million, but ignoring when shel adelson gave 100 million to mitt......Hanging a conspiracy theory on anything that comes up during obamas watch is the only argument they can put forward. the benghazi bullshit is the same, its the pres wanting to win the election, but could be nothing to do with mitts efforts to blow it up constantly
Ive heard they want to impeach him over this lil tax clusterfuck already.

Look at Italy where cheating on your taxes is a national past-time. Do we really want that? I thought that our national past-time was baseball.

I did too when I was 12.
I am not 12 anymore and I know that the natioal pastime in the u.s. is fucking the irs.

Interesting.

I am honest on my tax forms. The people that I associate with are also honest on their tax forms. Perhaps you are hanging out with the wrong type of people.

The people that you know let you check out their tax returns?[8|]roflmfao.

"Tea party" is political????? Who knew? I thought it was a reference to Alice in Wonderland. Mad Hatter, anyone. Well off with their heads......[:D]

But it's OK because your guy is in power now???

Of course not.

The question of who was "in power," though, brings up a detail I don't think anyone's mentioned so far. This happened on the watch of IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman--a Bush appointee whose six-year term extended into the Obama Administration.

This is too easy! If you are saying since Bush's choice was in charge of the treasury, thus is responsible for anything during HIS watch, it logically follows, that since Hillary was in charge of the State Department, ALL fuckups in the State Department can be laid at Hillary's feet!

The logic of this post is flawed at it's base. Bushes choice was in charge at the irs thus his fault. Hillary is no longer in charge at the state dept. thus what happens next is on the current fuckwad.

Reminds me of the "Tricky Dick" Nixon CREEP too - and what do they have in common?

In both instances, at the time of the abuse of Executive power, the head of the IRS was a Republican.

Interesting coincidence, isn't it?

Wow. Drudge (and his CM minions) are milking an opportunity to slam a Democratic administration. Now there's a shock.

There have been efforts aplenty to lay Benghazi at Hillary Clinton's feet.

The Bush appointee who put a stop to it immediately upon finding out about it.

The Bush appointee who put a stop to it immediately upon finding out about it.

Actually, he didn't - he resigned before the news broke. In fact, if he had not resigned, it is likely that the Right-wing Media would have never reported the story ("Thou shalt not attack another Republican")
