In both instances, at the time of the abuse of Executive power, the head of the IRS was a Republican. Interesting coincidence, isn't it? The Bush appointee who put a stop to it immediately upon finding out about it. Actually, he didn't - he resigned before the news broke. In fact, if he had not resigned, it is likely that the Right-wing Media would have never reported the story ("Thou shalt not attack another Republican")
