No one would suggest giving up your job/profession Dreamless.
No one would suggest you give up any part of your control over the house, the chores, or your man.
The fun thing about the situation is that you tailor it to your needs, and desires. I believe most people work nowadays, and no woman (dominant or otherwise) should give up her ability to be financially independent when/if possible. The fun part of dominance is, you make the rules in your household (or his).

If you consider that currently many/most women do go to work, come home and tend to the house, the care taking of little ones, and the man; why would it be such a stretch if a fem dominant expected that very same thing from her man submissive? It hasn't killed women, so it is hardly a leap for me to take in my mind to charge men with same duties. M

I have to say I commend the op for sticking it out in his marriage. He seems to still love his wife and isn't going out and cheating or looking for a pro or anything. I personally think that's great.

Just keep doing what you're doing, op. Take care of your wife, love her, do everything you can to please her. Do the dishes, the housework, the laundry, the cooking, running errands, drawing her a bath, telling her you love her, etc...That to me, is true service whether you want to call it d/s, bdsm, 1950's, fem lead household, or just an ordinary relationship.
